Warm summer days perfect for water sports, hiking, biking or fishing, and cool nights for the most restful sleep make this a vacation you will remember and return to year after year. Our home is very clean and has a warm feel that is sure to inspire relaxation and a happy vacation. The open floor plan, cathedral ceilings, and plenty of windows and skylights make being indoors feel as open and airy as the backyard. Our safe gated community with private security has 2 pools, 3 lakes, and loads of daily planned activities daily throughout the summer including tennis lessons, basketball, canoe and boat rentals, tie dying, ice cream socials, movie nights and concerts for the kids. Our home is just a short walk to Larsen Lake Beach. We provide a binder with detailed directions and information on dining and entertainment that our family has enjoyed though out the years as well.
We will supply plenty of blankets and comforters for each bed. Please bring your own pillows, towels and bedding linens. Upstairs 1 King bed (can use 2 twin sheets) resides in the large master bedroom with a full bath, cathedral ceiling, ceiling fan, and sliding glass door to the front balcony, 1 full and 1 twin bed are in the second level guest bedroom with cathedral ceiling, ceiling fan, and a large window overlooking the backyard and forest, and 2 twin beds share a spacious first floor bedroom that has a sliding glass door to the front deck. . Access to the first floor bedroom is only 3 small steps when entering from the rear entrance.

Gas fireplace, 27 inch stereo TV with VCR and DVD player, digital Stereo with CD and tape player, gourmet coffee maker with filters, toaster, microwave, contemporary glass top stove and oven, full size side by side refrigerator with ice maker, dish washer, all utensils, dishes, and glasses, Weber 3 burner propane BBQ grill with a side burner, 4 ceiling fans, and some indoor and outdoor games. Plug protectors are in the lower outlets to keep the kids safe. Outdoors we have 2 decks, a Florida room, parking for 6 cars, and lots of privacy on a quiet road just a short walk to Larsen Lake! We are a pesticide free and smoke free clean home.

While staying at our home at Big Bass Lake we love to swim, canoe, fish, hike, and relax. The nearby fun centers, waterparks, shopping, and zoo are all favorites of ours too.
The Unique Benefits of this House
This is a beautiful community and we chose a house with a large flat lot that is almost 2 acres with a stream. Most of the lot is wooded, and there is a 6000 square foot clearing with grass that your family will love. There is a great swing set for the kids, and a "love seat" swing for adults at the corner of the yard. The open floor plan of the home encourages family time together, and the upstairs master bedroom is a nice retreat for some quiet time. Our home is perfect for the family that loves to play and vacation together!

Had a great time at BBL this holiday weekend. House was clean and comfortable. Our kids, ages 9 and 13 loved playing in the area surrounding the house - plenty of cleared space for playing ball as well as wooded areas for exploring and watching deer. Beach was clean and the lake calm enough for kids to canoe on their own. Thank you Jeff!

The place and our entire weekend was better than we could have planned. Let me start by saying the home IS incredibly comfortable, charming, and spacious. The interior setup is modern and homely with a touch of rustic. The home's landscape is vast, with enough room between neighbors to really allow a secluded feel to the vacation. The family of deer, always near by watching us grill and try and take their pictures, was such a constant delight. The community locals were most pleasant and communicative, on days where we'd be enjoying the lakes and/or beach. The use of the canoes was also a really added enjoyment. Everything about the community was very serene and relaxing. We loved everything about this vacation. Thank you again for welcoming us into your home and allowing us to share in some wonderful memories in Big Bass Lake.

I rented this property to spend a weekend with my wife and kids at poconos. The house was great, very well taken care of. Beautifull play area for the kids with a swing set. The lake was very nice and clean as well. The house was clean, and in great shape. You can tell the owners take great pride in it and use it often themself. A steep spiral staircase maid it a bit tough for our 3 year old but in all fairness the owner Jeff warned me abou that upfront. Overall a great time. Deer everywhere. Almost every time you come outside there's one or more looking back at you. The community is very quiet.

I so enjoyed my time away at this home at Big Bass Lake. The huge yard provided hours of fun and relaxation for my entire family. The kids loved exploring especially by the small stream that runs adjacent to the house, There was so much to do - hiking, canoeing, swimming and blueberry picking. We even got to see a local firemen's parade and attend a carnival in the area. We also headed to CamelBeach just a half hour away for a day at the waterpark. The home is so cozy and well-kept. The bathrooms and kitchen were extremely clean and loved the fact that there are wood floors throughout the house. The bedrooms are spacious and simply but nicely decorated. The high ceilings and windows all around gave such an open feeling and allowed us to view nature from all angles. It was beautiful to see the family of deer in the yard. Loved that the home has 3 decks for everyone to relax on and have some quiet time if they chose to. My family has enjoyed this home now in the fall and summer and I truly can't choose which I liked better. Both seasons gave us the opportunity to enjoy the land and the surrounding environment. The leaves in the fall were absolutely spectacular. It was truly a fun-filled yet relaxing vacation for the whole family. I would recommend this property to any of my friends or family for a delightful getaway.

Perfect getaway for us! We had a two hour drive and it was very easy to find. All the amenities of the community(lake swiming, boating, great pools) were great and there is always something happening nearby (Firetruck Parade,Carnival) No matter what your interest is in coming here you can find it if not in the community a short ditance awy . Would stay again in a heartbeat (house very well maintained in tranquil location).

We had a great stay over Memorial Day weekend with family and friends. The house was clean and spacious with lots of places to relax. We loved the large backyard where the kids played for hours. Safe, clean, relaxing, we couldn't ask for more. The owners are incredibly nice, honest and helpful. Had a great VRBO experience. Thanks for sharing your home. Would definately rent again.

We had a great stay. The house is cozy but large enough to spread out and get some peace for yourself. The house is well maintained and the owner is very accommodating. You can drive to most attractions within a half hour's time. My oldest daughter loved being able to go swimming in the winter. We all loved seeing the deer throughout the day. We will definitely be coming back.

To the Rhode Family, Our family spent New Years Eve weekend at your lovely home. When we first walked in, we were very impressed of how clean it was. That is important to us as we are in a strange home. The coziness was a plus as we felt right at home within minutes. The rooms are perfect sizes and the beds were very comfortable. The appliances were very nice and worked perfectly.Our children are 15,13, and 8 and they enjoyed all the games/puzzles/movies that were at the house. This home is lovely! My daughters (7 & 11) loved the back yard and surrounding woods. We enjoyed the pool and clubhouse activities. This house was very clean - inside & out - and up to date with furnishings etc. No complaints at all - a great family getaway!
