Great getaway

Beautiful studio home. Construction and quality of the home is superior. Quite a bit of traffic noise, but when you shut the door it is very quiet.

Wonderful Getaway Cabin

Guest: Fisherman Doug (Phoenix)
Date of Stay: 08/28/08 Review Submitted: 09/07/08

My wife and I rented this home for three days over Labor Day and were very happy with the accommodations. Everything about the cabin was first rate and the owners even thoughtfully lended us fishing poles and tackle. I was a little concerned about the closeness of the other cabin on the property but the two homes are situated as such that there is a lot of privacy and you only run into one another when leaving the property. We spent much of our time on the fabulous deck--a big plus for the cabin! As to previous comments left about the cabin, the windows now have screens allowing the cool mountain air to flow through the cabin. Although the cabin is close to the highway, the noise isn't much of an issue unless you're specifically looking for a very remote getaway. On the flip side, the convenience of the highway makes for a quick trip such sites as Bozeman Hot Springs to start the day. We look forward to vacationing in the Bozeman area again and would, without hesitation, rent this cabin again.

Very nice cabin but noisy

Guest: SCR (Ashland, OR)

This is a very charming studio and was as described. Very clean, and well appointed with everything that one would need The owner was very friendly and extremely helpful during my stay. I rented the studio for a personal retreat, and although the structure was as described, I was very disappointed by the location. It was certainly partially my fault for not asking all the questions I need to before renting. But future renters should know that a major highway runs right by the structure, so there is constant traffic noise, and the river is on the other side of the highway. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is not the spot. If that's not important to you, it's a lovely cabin.

Nice cabin for two

Guest: Nice cabin for two (Upland, California)
Date of Stay: 07/14/08 Review Submitted: 07/28/08

My husband and I rented this cabin for 5 days in July. We loved it. All the fixtures/appliances are new. It is very handsomely decorated, cozy and comfortable. My only negative comments are that I wish there had been screens on the 3 new window treatments so we could have opened them during the late afternoon to enjoy the breeze without fear of mosquitos coming in the cabin. Also, there is no air vent over the stove, which could present a problem for some. I do wish that they had a cutting board too because I was afraid of slicing into the top part of the cabinet (counter) when I prepared food with a sharp knife. There is a gas-powered BBQ on site. Overall, it was truly a wonderful place with a very comfortable bed. We brought Scrabble, Yatzee and playing cards to play in the evening as there is no TV or radio. We enjoyed the time together. You will too.

Owner response:Just an update on this property, it is brand new for us this summer, so it has taken some time to get it completely set up. You'll be happy to know that we indeed do have window blinds and screens. Also, there is a tv/dvd set available for use upon request. Any comments from our guests are appreciated, it helps us make sure that we have all the conveniences needed for an enjoyable stay.

Amazing cabin for a romantic getaway

Guest: HA Rachel (Austin, TX)
Date of Stay: 06/13/08 Review Submitted: 06/17/08

I currently work for HomeAway.com and I recently stayed in this studio and I would highly recommend it to anyone. This cabin is an A plus all around from the great location and atmosphere, well maintained interior, to the courteous management. I was given great directions to the studio, which is near awesome hiking and fishing. It is a short drive from the airport and is nearby some really good restaurants. The studio is a very short trip to Ted Turner's ranch where there is a great hiking trail head. It is a good spot for beautiful pictures of the mountains, and you might even see some buffalo and elk roaming around. The cabin is also very close to a whitewater rafting facility, which is great for the summer! The interior of the cabin was very nice and extremly clean. Feel free to bring food because there is a full size refrigerator and stove. The place is fully furnished with everything you might need. All of the amenities seemed new and well maintained. The studio also had a nice deck to sit and relax on. The management was nice enough to bring my boyfriend and I a TV/DVD player and some movies before we got there. They were extremly friendly and very easy to work with, always prompt with responses to any questions I had. Because I work for HomeAway I see and hear about many different condos and this is a great one! I would definatly recommend this to anyone wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, or wanting a romantic getaway, or someone who loves the great outdoors!!!!
