BIGHORN VIEW ESTATE
Your Vacation has been hard-earned so don't waste it by staying somewhere that doesn't have everything! Nothing is worse than getting somewhere only to find that you are miles away from the attractions you want to enjoy and spending half your time in the back of a cab. Or worse yet, spending extra money at the Spa or Hotel because you don't have a hot-tub or quiet place to relax in your room. Bighorn View Estate is a one-acre Private Estate that has so much to do, you may never leave. But if you choose to, you are within walking distance to some of the best Restaurants and attractions the Desert has to offer.
At Bighorn View Estate you can play tennis on your own private tennis court, and you won't get 'blown away' by a sandy desert Scirocco. That's because the Magnesia Falls Cove is one of the few coves protected from the wind on 3 sides by the lovely San Jacinto Mountains. Take a swim in the private swimming pool, or relax in your secluded hot-tub, resting just outside your Master Bedroom. Don't forget, you have a full kitchen, so maybe staying in for the night and pay-per-viewing a movie is the way to go. If you choose to invite some friends over, there is no better place to entertain. Guests can be screened at your own Private iron gates. Then you can greet them as they come up the 25 foot wide stairway to the Estate entrance. Try that at your Hotel!

Why the Owner Chose Private Homes
It has taken 20 years but I have finally arrived back in Rancho Mirage, just one block away from the home I grew up in! I was born in Rancho Mirage and spent many Birthdays as a kid at Bighorn View Estate, as my best friend lived there and had the same Birthday as I did. When the Estate came up for sale, it was clearly Destiny, and I had to buy it. I hope you can share in the enjoyment my family has had there over the years.

The Unique Benefits at this House
Bighorn View Estate has all the amenities I need to enjoy doing my favorite things. Wake up and swim laps in the pool. Head out for an amazing hike up The Magnesia Falls. If I am lucky, see a few Bighorn Sheep on the ridge. Later in the day, a 'friendly' game of Doubles Tennis on our tennis court....Then its cocktail hour. Sit out on the back patio and watch the sun set slowly over the beautiful mountains...Head inside and Pay-per-view a Classic movie and then jump in the hot tub and relax. What a great way to end the day!

Life is always interesting with a full house and 'getting away' to the Desert is a great way to 'recharge the batteries'. The kids love it down there and Grandma loves the fact that her Grandkids are in town quite frequently now. After 16 years as a Financial Advisor, I have been blessed with the ability to buy this 'one-of-a-kind' Estate.

I spent my 50th birthday, with 13 of my closest friends, at this fabulous home. The majority of us were tennis players so the tennis court was a treat. The home is perfectly laid out for a large group, it is spacious and comfortable. When traveling, I prefer to stay in a home or condo because my husband and I love to cook. The kitchen had all the necessities for a gourmet cook and the appliances were perfect. Though the photos on the website are beautiful, I believe the home is more beautiful in person. The home was very clean and well maintained and the owners are delightful. We plan on returning again and again!

We stayed for my grandmother's 90th birthday. The location was beautiful and had the amenities we needed to accomodate my grandmother! Heated pool and spa made it wonderful to relax during the day and tennis court is kept up nicely. Owners are extremley nice and accomodating. THANK YOU FOR A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!

Just returned from a Girlfriend's getaway at Bighorn...and all nine of us had the best time. The house is beautifully designed and fit us all so comfortably. A truly picturesque location , lovely landscaping, and a terrific place for visiting and relaxing. We hardly left the compound, except to do the Palm Springs Art Museum and a movie - both easy to get to. The family couldn't have been easier to work with and were very helpful in making our stay perfect. We'll come back next year!

We've stayed at Bighorn View twice. The first time we were a group of families with small children, and Bighorm View was perfect--plenty of space for the kids to swim and play, a beautiful kitchen/dining area to cook/eat in, and a great layout for tucking the kids into bed at night, while the adults enjoyed the gorgeous weather and stellar views. The second time we were a group of moms on getaway, and the property was so relaxing--we swam, soaked in the spa and played a few games of tennis. Great selection of restaurants, movie theatres and shops nearby...but if you stop for groceries on your way into town, you never have to leave the estate. Truthfully, you'd hardly want to! It's secluded, peaceful, secure...we love Bighorn, and we'll stay there again. A place like this makes most hotels seem a lot less interesting...

What a gem! We had an incredible "escape" to this beautiful home. Early morning hikes out the front door. Tennis, pool, spa, BBQ and quiet naps during the day. Fun dinners out nearbye (or home-cooked meals) at night. Like new, perfect for large families!

Spacious residence in quiet, secluded setting. All the amenities we wanted...pool, spa, lots of room, great views, perfect location. We hardly left the compound, except to take advantage of the terrific nearby hikes, and to walk to The River complex for dinner. Recommend!
