  This house is simply amazing and had plenty of space for our family of 14. The property is beautiful with the private lake and view of the mountains. The game room was a lot of fun! (pool table & ping pong were the two favorites) Watching football on the big screen TV was a highlight of the weekend. The kitchen was a large enough space for us to spend quality time together. Everyone enjoyed the wrap around porch. The kids also enjoyed feeding the resident goats. Our family had a wonderful time!

  Our middle son was recently wed nearby at the Waters Mill banquet and reception center. We needed to be nearby and to also host our family members and several friends who were traveling from Chicago, Phoenix, Palm Desert, CA, Indiana and Florida. In all we needed to accommodate nearly two dozen folks including our own immediate family from NE GA. Much to our surprise and good luck we found the ideal location and venue at this lovely home situated on 10 square miles, yes that's miles not just acres, only 8/10 of a mile from our wedding venue. The home itself is a mountain mansion but even more than that is its gorgeous location in the foothills of the Appalachain Mountains and yet is only 90 minutes from Jackson-Hartsfield Intl. Airport in ATL. The home itself is well maintained and very clean and ready to use upon arrival. It has all the modern conveniences including dish, cable TV and WiFi. We slept anywhere from 20 to 26 folks depending on the day of the week and everyone had a bed to call their own. The four bathrooms provided privacy w/o compromise and the availability of three refridgerators allowed us to have storage for the food and refreshments we needed. The views are awesome, the scenery breathtaking and best of all Mr. Edwin Alexander, the Manager/Caretaker was a very pleasant and knowlegeable person and professional to work with. We may be renting this home again in July 2013 for a social club meeting and would highly recommend this venue to anyone needing a large home or just wanting their privacy in a beautiful and natural rural part of NE Georgia. This place is a winner all the way around. We'll be back!

  I went up with a group of friends from Atlanta and we had a great time. There were about 20 of us, all in our twenties, and we were very comfortable. The view is amazing! The house is spacious enough for people to be rowdy in multiple areas and still quiet in others. There is every game you could want to play and the hot tub was great. The kitchen was large enough for multiple people to cook and not get in each other's way. Edwin was very accommodating. It was an easy rental process and we will definitely be back!

  Our daughter got married at Waters Mill in Dahlonega this week and we rented this home for our family. The location was perfect and so close to Waters Mill. The weather was perfect too. We had 22 people, ages 3-67 and the house was spacious enough for everyone. The younger kids had fun feeding the goats and playing with the toys in the study. The pool and hot tub were a big hit and fishing and canoeing on the lake were enjoyed by the more adventurous of the group. Edwin was very accomodating and took care of the one minor complaint immediately (not enough wash cloths). We highly recommend this property.

  Our family had a wonderful time at our visit to your home. We spent alot of time hanging out in the kitchen preparing meals together and sharing around the table. The game room was a big hit with the kids old and young. The view was spectacular as we just hung out on the huge wrap around porch. We are already planning our return trip next year. Truly everything about this place was exceptional.

  This is a really remarkable property. The pictures don't do the view justice. From the back porch, you have a sweeping panorama of a private lake and the mountains in the background. The pool is fantastic, complete with outdoor speakers all around. Guests have utter privacy, as there is not another house in sight. The property manager, Edwin, was extremely helpful and welcoming. He was quite responsive and clearly takes very good care of this amazing place. I highly recommend a stay here for you and your friends.

  This is the 4th year we have thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this beautiful home in the North Georgia mountains. The house is large enough to allow for privacy with plenty of rooms, beds and bathrooms. The kitchen area and wrap around porch are spacious and a great place to hang out together. The pool is big enough for floats and has ample lounge seating. The location is great...only an hour North of Atlanta and less than 15 minutes from Dahlonega and Amicalola Falls. This home has everything we need and wonderful, scenic views. I highly recommend the space for anyone wanting to escape the big city.

  We were happy with the roominess, privacy, and amenities. Besides the fishing and pool we brought the kids bikes and enjoyed the long driveway and paved parking area. We saw a bear cross the road about 2 miles away from the entrance. The kitchen and dining areas provide for many people. I don't recall any item we lacked for a wonderful week long vacation. We are returning in 2011!

  I rented this estate for my family to stay in on the weekend of my daughters wedding in Dahlonega. We were there for 4 days, and I so wished we could have stayed the whole week. It is beautiful, and everything the rental promised. It was clean, well maintained, well stocked, with lots of fun things to do, and yet very comfortable to house our family of 10. I would certainly recommed it to anyone who is looking for a family retreat, or to host a special event, and my family will certainly use this home again in the future.
