Lovely Log Cabin is located in a quiet park. We have just completed renovating the cabin. The cabin is in a great location. It is just 4 miles into Polson or 30 miles to Big Fork. We also have our own boat space which comes with the rental, should they bring their boat for boating or fishing. There is also a pool which can be shared with other homeowners and guests.
We would ask that you do not smoke inside cabin, however, there's plenty of deck space to use.
It is just a short walk to the dock area. there is also a boardwalk along the shoreline of the park. Come and be our guests in our special place on Flathead Lake.

Why the Owner Chose Polson
It is easy to fly into to either Kalispell or Missoula airport rent a car and drive to Polson. We usually fly because we live in Florida. Flathead Lake is the largest fresh water west of the Mississippi. We are located near ski areas ( 1 hour), 26 miles from Big Fork, MT. 90 minutes from Glacier National Park

We are about an hour drive away from Glacier National Park. About 45 minutes from Kalispell and 30 minutes from Big Fork, which is absolutely beautiful..

Beautiful Week on Flathead

We found the cabin very clean and comfortable. The cabin is located within a very congested RV park but the manager of the park kept it spotless. The area was quiet and the people very friendly. The cabin does not have a washer and dryer, it's shared as in a KOA.. Operating out of the dock was difficult due to the shallow water and heavy aquatic plant growth. I was constantly removing weeds from my prop. I have a large boat, smaller craft would have no problem. There is no jetted tub in the 2nd bath as stated in the description. This rental offers easy access to Polson and is in a beautiful area. Just watch the heavy traffic on highway 35 when exiting or entering the park. All in all we had a wonderful stay..
Recommended for:Families with young children, age 55+.

My brother-in-law, husband and I stayed 5 nights at the Flathead Lake cabin owned by the Johnson's. What a beautiful comfortable home.The description of the cabin was accurate and the photos did not disappoint. It had everything you would want in a home. Dishes, all kinds of utensils, flat screen tv's, a huge deck and grass. The home was very clean and had a great shower off of the master suite. Our view of the lake was somewhat limited but we were fine with that. We would highly recommend this cabin and hope to stay in it again in the future. Thank you to the Johnson's for renting out their home.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+.

We spent one week at the cabin. It was quite enjoyable. Very clean and quiet.With the boat slip included it was a great vacation. We would do it again.
Owner response:2009 was our first experience in renting out our cabin. The season is not very long, but we found it to be a success. Our renters were the TOPS and we really appreciated the care they took to enjoy their stay. Walt and Jannette
