Grand Harbor townhome description
This lovely waterfront town-home, with plentiful sunlight, balcony and 40 ft dock, is located within the Grand Harbor resort. Here, you can walk onto your boat from the living room. You are also within walking distance of the two 18-hole championship golf courses and 12 tennis courts. The swimming pool is only 20 yards away. The resort's beautiful landscapes, with lakes and golf courses invite you for memorable evening walks. The home offers 3 bedrooms (2 masters) and 3.5 baths. It is beautifully decorated in a provincial Mediterranean style. Unique accessories and paintings throughout the house create a relaxing and romantic ambience.
The attached 2-car garage opens into a nicely landscaped courtyard which invites you into the main entrance. The open floor plan allows direct views of the water from the wide open kitchen, dining room, and living room areas. The high ceilings, beautiful furnishings and large doors and windows add light and airy brightness to this spacious home. From the lovely first-floor covered balcony (furnished with wicker table and chairs) you can relax over breakfast, drinks or a book, and enjoy the cool Atlantic breezes and its wildlife (fish, various species of birds, manatees and the occasional dolphin). The living room offers two couches, an arm chair and a 35-inch cable TV. The dining room table seats 6 to 8 people. The kitchen is also fully furnished with all major appliances and a 5-seat bar.
The downstairs master bedroom boasts a king size bed, large bathroom with a Jacuzzi, bidet, large shower, 2 walk in closets and a TV with DVD player. A sliding door leads from the downstairs master bedroom to the enclosed Mediterranean courtyard. The upstairs master bedroom, with its queen size bed and large closet, also has a cozy covered balcony that overlooks the Harbor. A second upstairs bedroom includes two twin beds, ideal for young guests. The second floor also offers an open study/den area with a desk, comfortable 2-seat leather recliner and an interior balcony that overlooks the living room. It is the perfect setting to catch up on correspondence or relax with a book.

Escape To Tranquility
Our first visit to the Grand Harbor community was indeed spectacular and memorable. The community and its amenities (golf course, tennis courts and swimming pools) were in essence, all inclusive. The luscious vegetation and immaculate landscaping abounded as far as the eyes could see. The community itself is sophisticated and serene. More important was our experience in this waterfront home on Harbor Island. Upon entering the house we were greeted by the magnificent view of the lagoon. The high ceilings and wide windows accentuated the space of the already large rooms. The house is clean, well appointed, tastefully decorated, and perfect for entertaining or just relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the veranda and watching the boats meander their way towards the vast ocean just beyond. This experience will be repeated by us this year.

Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.
Our vacation at this property was both luxurious and homey. As soon as we walked through the door we were smitten. The neighborhood is great and the neighbors are not intrusive, which makes for a peaceful respite. The amenities are incredible. The pool is steps away and private. Rarely did we have to even share the pool grounds. Everything you need to feel at home is in this townhouse. We highly recommend this rental unit.
