Built in 1954 and renovated in 2008 the log cabin is located in the wonderful setting of Kananaskis Country a few kilometers from Bragg Creek.
One-of-a-kind log beds and furniture hand-crafted by the owners (a local folkart artist and his wife) make this home a piece of living art where you can spend relaxing time with family and friends. Many acres of forest, pasture, meadows, water and many different colorful buildings old and new, charming and unique .
The Folk Tree Lodge is the place for a real special vacation. If simply relaxing and embracing the peaceful atmosphere is not for you, the property offers opportunities for nature walks, leisure strolling, sunbathing, skating, picnic, wildlife and birds watching. Horses, chicken and other family animals make the perfect frame to this unique place. You can bring your horse along and have her/him stay in one of our outside pens with shelter.
Bragg Creek, famous for the artisan community, makes shopping an interesting experience. Fine dining in the local restaurants is a special treat.
We are in the Kananaskis Country and it's the perfect environment for any kind of outdoor experience you are looking for. We speak Italian, Parliamo Italiano.
