Sanctuary at False Cape in Sandbridge (Virginia Beach, VA) offers a the perfect beach vacation! On the oceanfront, next to a state park with tennis courts, across the street from scenic Back Bay Wildlife Refuge with water sports available, 5 minutes from False Cape National Park, 15 minutes from championship golf at Hell’s Point (a Rees Jones course), the Sanctuary has the amenities, peacefulness, and natural beauty to ensure a fantastic vacation. And that’s just the surrounding area – the resort has a fitness center, three heated swimming pools (opening May 15) including one with a swim-up bar, library, Viking grills, a high-end restaurant – the list goes on and on.
This ocean-view condo offers every upgrade and amenity. Flat screen HD televisions in every bedroom and a 52-inch flat screen HD television in the great room, fully equipped kitchen, convenient location, and open living spaces allow you to be completely comfortable. A large wrap-around outdoor balcony offer great views of the ocean and the bay.
Great Room/Dining Room: The huge great room is open to the dining room and kitchen. The great room has a 52" flat panel plasma TV, cable including DVR, DVD player, and a stereo. There is free local phone and wireless high speed internet access in the condo. The great room is very bright with two sliding glass doors facing east (ocean view!) and north that open to the balcony. The great room is furnished with "home comfort" furniture. The dining table has seating for 10 - everybody in your party can sit at the same table for meals. There is a delightful tatouage mural behind the dining table.
Kitchen: The gourmet kitchen has cherry cabinets, granite counters, and stainless steel appliances. The kitchen is open to the great room, with views out to the ocean. The kitchen is fully equipped with top of the line products, including the gourmet coffee maker, baking equipment, slow cooker, waffle iron, toaster oven, George Foreman grill, ice cream maker, table service for 12, full set of pots and pans, and blender. The kitchen has plenty of counter space, loads of cabinet space, and a large pantry. We upgraded the kitchen equipment in 2009.
Balcony: The spacious balcony overlooks the ocean, a gorgeous pool, and a landscaped courtyard. There is a table, seating for 10, and a chaise lounge.
Master Bedroom and Bathroom: The master bedroom is large and has a walk-in closet. The king mahogany platform bed, tatouage mural, and ceiling fan give the bedroom a delightful feeling. The pillow-top mattress and pillows are top of the line. The master bedroom includes a flat screen TV with cable and a very comfortable chair and ottoman for you to relax and enjoy a book. You can walk out of the exterior door onto the wrap-around balcony. The master bathroom is also large and has beautiful cherry cabinets, a granite counter top, tile floors, and is decorated in simple elegance.
Second bedroom and bathroom: The second bedroom has an ocean view. The room is furnished with a queen bed with pillow-top mattress, a flat screen TV with cable, and a large walk-in closet.
Third bedroom and bathroom: The third bedroom has a queen bed with pillow-top mattress, a flat screen TV with cable, and a large walk-in closet.
Fourth bedroom: The fourth bedroom has two bunk beds (sleeps four) for the kids and includes a flat screen TV with cable and a gaming port. You'll find a gaming rocker in the closet, in addition to a variety of board games.
All bathrooms have glass shower enclosures and ADA-compliant grab bars in the bath tubs.
The Sanctuary at False Cape is a member of Virginia Green Lodging. Use of condo amenities, linens and towels, and post-stay cleaning are included. Swimming pools open 5/16 - 9/19. No smoking. Fire code regulation prohibits the use of open-flamed or gas-fueled grilling devices on the balcony. Add 15% Virginia Beach lodging and sales taxes and $105 in non-refundable administration fees. Weekly rentals only.
