This was our first trip to Myrtle Beach. This was a very clean and quiet home where we could relax; and yet it's just minutes to anything in North Myrtle Beach or Myrtle Beach via Hwy 17. It was an easy walk to the beach, which our dogs loved. We enjoyed the privacy of the end house location and largely shaded yard. The neighbors were very friendly. All in all, it was a nice week.
Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This was our 1st time being so-called "Snowbirds" and when we arrived the house was so much more than we even imagined. There was so much room with the 3 bedrooms which was perfect for when our daughter visited from Raleigh, NC. The place was just as the photos we had received. It was perfect for our dog with the front porch and back yard. Was very clean and felt very homey. Loved being close to beach, Molly Darcey's Pub & Grill, many restaurants, shopping, etc. Neighbors were great. LOVED Myrtle Beach. Will definitely go back and want to stay longer than 3 mos. Owners very friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful time at your beach home. My girlfriends mother found it easily accessible with 1 bedroom being on the ground floor and only a couple of steps up to get inside the home. Well equipped kitchen and the home was clean. Nice patio area and charcoal grill too. I would highly recommend this home to any vacationing family and the owners were a pleasure to work with as well.

This was my first trip to Myrtle Beach and I couldn't have picked a better place to stay. My best friend and I planned a couples' retreat as we couldn't really afford our own vacation. The house was the perfect size for our group of four, in fact there was more than enough room. It was so clean when we arrived, it had everything we needed down to my favorite kind of pan for baking chicken. :) And even though the house is non-smoking, it is smoker friendly with plenty of outside seating either on the covered balcony upstairs or the nice shady patio area off the sliding glass door. Only a few blocks to the beach, easy walk, and with Mr. G's right around the corner you can cool off with a bottle of water or some ice cream. We definately felt at home in this house and didn't want to leave at the end of the week. We will absolutely rent from Lin and Ken on our next trip to Myrtle Beach.

My Husband and I recently stayed at this property in July of 2011. Lin & Ken are great people to deal with. We brought along our chocolate lab who enjoyed walks on the beach. The house is in a great location,just a couple of blocks from the beach.My husband,played golf a couple blocks away at beechwood golf course. I can tell you we will be back next year as well. The price is affordable,and the house is wonderful.The house is fully furnished with everything that u need. The house is in a quiet negiborhood and is the last house on the street. We look forward to staying here next year. Just want to thank Lin & Ken for making our vacation fantastic and memorable.

We had a wonderful stay at this rental. It was big enough for our family of six plus two small children. The king size bed was especially comfortable with really nice bedding. With all these people in the house and cooking we had no problem with hot water. It was also a short drive or slight walk to the beach, so we were able to vist the beach several times a day with a nap in between. Shopping nearby was also nice. I would definitely stay here again: clean house, nice furnishings, great accomodations. Thanks for a great trip!

Myrtle Beach is my idea of "the perfect vacation". I loved staying at your Hillside home. I am so looking forward to next year. Your home is decorated so lovely. We rented a golf cart and were minutes from the beach. Having been to Myrtle Beach the year before, we knew all of our favorite spots to visit. For me it was like having a home away from home. The evening ocean breeze was like heaven. I thank the owners so much for giving us the opportunity to rent their home. Our Havanese, Diadora, even loved Tom Tom the cat who lived across the way. I know I want to stay longer the next time. Thank you so much again. Even though my husband left his review, I needed to put my two cents in. I can't wait to return!

We had a wonderful stay at the Hillside residence. We love North Myrtle Beach. It has lots of attractions. We found a great Italian restaurant and of course the weather and the beach were great. A recommended stay at the Irishes.

It was a real pleasure to stay 5 weeks in this house. Not only for the house itself but the kindness, the comprehension and the humanity of Lin and Ken. The house is comfortable and we feel like home. It is a walking distance to the sea and far away from traffic noise. The neighbors are kind and quiet and the neighbourhood is pleasant. It is a peaceful house and we recommend it for short and long staying. Pour les snowbirds, les familles et les amis, cette maison est idéale. Nous y avons habité 5 semaines et nous avions réellement l'impression d'être chez-nous. Les propriétaires sont super et la maison située dans un endroit calme et reposant.

We had a wonderful experience staying 2 months at this wonderful beach house. The house was very clean, well maintained and just what we hoped to expect. Most of all it was equipped with everything you need. Just like home! We certainly will rent it again. Our dog was very happy too.

My husband and I got married July 31st on North Myrtle Beach and could not have asked for a better place to stay for our occasion. It was the two of us and two young girls (9 & 14) and we had more than enough room for sure! Everything we could have wanted was available to us: a short walk to the beach, quiet surroundings, entertainment within (TV, DVD player, radio/CD player, accessibility for our Playstation, cooking/drinking supplies, etc.) and nearby (plenty of restaurants - within walking & driving distance, shopping, & mini golf galore!). We just had to bring ourselves, our clothing, and a little food... anything else we could have wanted was available to us! Oh - There's also a shower outside so you can rinse off when you return from the beach - very helpful! In addition - the home owners are more than pleasant to work with!! This just added to our wonderful experience! Thanks again, Lin & Ken, for letting us enjoy your beach house for our special occasion! We would highly recommend this house for anyone!

My family and I stayed the week of July fourth in this house. I could not imagine a more perfect place. It was our first time renting a house rather than a condo or hotel. It will not be our last. This house is ABSOLUTELY everything it lists to be and more. It was immacculate. It was spacious. The location is ideal. Parking right outside the house makes for easy access. We were so pleased. The owners seem almost like family. Our email and phone communications were so nice. They went out of their way for us! We feel so fortunate to have found such a nice, clean, and perfectly located vacation residence. We recommend this listing to anyone who wants the very BEST for their getaway.

Great place to stay in North Myrtle Beach. House is a good size and even with six of us staying at this house, there was plenty of space. Not too far to walk to the beach and it was a nice beach. Very quiet location. House is tucked back in a corner with very convenient parking. House was very clean, well maintained and as advertized in the listing. Nice outside shower head which allows everyone to rinse off beach sand before entering the house. Not too far a drive to grocery stores, restaurants and a huge Walmart. We received our security deposit refund in a timely manner. I would definitely consider this property for a future stay with my family.

We stayed at Beach Heaven II for the month of March, 2010. Everything about this house was great. The house was exceptionally clean and well maintained. It was everything stated in the description and more!! The neighborhood was quiet and the neighbors very friendly. It was only a short walk to the beach. The beach was a wide, clean beach with easy access. Best of all was the attention given to us by Lin and Ken. They made sure we had everything we needed, responded quickly to any questions we had, and even emailed a couple of times to make sure we were happy and satisfied. They personally clean this home so they are certain it is in great shape. We are shaggers and enjoyed the close proximity to the dance clubs in North Myrtle Beach, yet we did not have the noise and business of Main Street/Ocean Drive area. We would highly recommend this property to others. In fact, we have already done so! It's a gem!!
