The house is beautiful! Loved having coffee on the deck by the river. The weather was perfect. The deer came every morning and stayed until we left in the morning. Loved the town and all the mountain views. All the info in the welcome packet was great. We went to double cabin - beautiful - and did a few other hikes. We loved our vacation. Thanks for everything!

Thank you so much for making this week one we'll never forget. Being from Alabama and here for the first time is like being in another world. We've been a few places in our lives, but nothing as beautiful as this area. Our favorite places were many but it sure was nice knowing we had the cabin to come back to and relax. Everything we needed is here and the decorating is magnificent. We will surely want to come back and stay here. Thanks for all!

Thank you for sharing your place with us. Appreciate everything you did to make this place so special. This is a great town full of people that make you feel welcome. We had such a relaxing and peaceful week. We made it to Yellowstone, Tetons, Brooks Lake and Double Cabin areas. It made our 30th anniversary one to remember.

Thank you for letting us stay in your cabin. I LOVED it! It was so cozy & comfortable. We enjoyed seeing the deer in the front yard and the beautiful view of the river. Dubois was great and so was Yellowstone. When other people come here, I hope they have as much fun and enjoy the warmth of the cabin as I did!

Dubois is as beautiful, if not more beautiful, than Yellowstone & the Grand Tetons. We went rafting in Jackson, horseback riding in the Tetons (a must!), Yellowstone, Double Cabin (beautiful), Brooks Lake and the Cowboy Cafe (many times). We loved the cabin, the river and the weather. This is definitely a place God spent a little extra time in creating. We take home MANY memories and pictures from this amazing week. Thank you for providing a beautiful & comfortable place to call home for a short time.

I was looking for a place to escape the stresses of everyday life, a place that offered solitude, a variety of activities, while being out of the mainstream of tourism. I have found it here at the Fly-Fishing Hideaway. It was perfect! There was an added benefit--the town of Dubois. What a fantastic town! Folks here are warm, accomodating and are friendly as can be. We fell in love with Dubois. Our activities included Yellowstone, of course, trekking the Tetons, fishing, visiting Sacajawea's resting place among others. We found the surrounding beauty of the Wind River region to be breathtaking. Most days ended with a cocktail on the deck overlooking the Wind River. This was a great vacation!

Thank you so much for sharing your lovely cabin with us. We really enjoyed our time here. Dubois is such a friendly town and a beautiful area. Our first day and a half, we spent relaxing. We drove up to the Bighorn Sheep viewing area and fished for a short while at Ring Lake. We spent Thursday in Jackson and experienced a float trip, the alpine slide, shopping and a short trip to Teton Village. We are heading back east tomorrow to the flat land - back home in Wisconsin. Thanks for sharing your little bit of heaven with us!

Our visit here at Dubois was very enjoyable. We made several trips; Yellowstone, Jackson Hole, Cody, Grand Tetons. We saw lots of wildlife and will not only take lots of pictures but lots of memories home with us. We also enjoyed shopping and visiting the shops and sights here in Dubois. With all our trips, it was nice to come back to a comfortable, cozy cabin. Thanks for sharing!

Our first family trip to the Dubois area was a complete success. We loved the way the cabin was decorated and it included everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We had some rain on several days this week, but still were able to see so much. Of course, we enjoyed Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons, but some of the other highlights included a muddy drive and hike to Double Cabin where we found petrified wood. Our finds made up for our clothes and minivan covered in mud. Another favorite member will always be the 33 different types of animals we have seen including grizzly bear, black bear, over 200 bison, osprey, eagle, coyote, yellow-bellied marmots, as well as the more common elk, deer, pronghorn, snake, ducks, chipmunks and more. More than once we saw animals where we didn't want to - in the middle of the road after dark. Be careful driving at night! Some other favorite sites were the fish hatchery, three lakes area [Torrey Lakes Area] and self-guided drive to get to the lakes, Jackson Hole, Victor & Driggs, ID (including a lime freeze & huckleberry shake), the Dubois Museum, Bighorn Sheep Interpretive Center, and many other drives around the area. We loved the Cowboy Cafe' for lunch - the chicken melt sandwich was great. We also had a surprisingly good lunch at the [Taylor Creek] Exxon Station - burgers, pizza & salad. We had a great trip and would highly recommend this location.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful "Fly-Fishing Hideaway". Also thank you for your kindness & patience in working with us to make our schedule fit available days. It is truly peaceful here and your home is SO nice. Dubois is definitely a part of America that continues to live out the Old West and we give thanks for that - so fun to know that such a place still exists. Our weather covered it all -- hot, cold, rain, wind, warm & best of all one of the most beautiful (double) rainbows we have ever seen!

I wanted to thank you for a wonderful time in Dubois. We enjoyed everything about our trip. You have a dream place. We enjoyed our evenings spent at the cabin. It made us feel right at home. We will be back and we will spread the word about this awesome place. Our best fishing was done in an around Dubois. I caught the fish of a lifetime one morning. I put in back so maybe i will get to catch it again in years to come.

Caught a 20" Brownie in the 1st hour out behind the cabin! What a place. Love the duck mounts. Yellowstone & Grand Tetons are amazing. So glad we came! We went upstream 12 - 14 miles or fished the east fork. I caught a 26" cutthroat!! 17 1/2" rainbow. Browns at Whiskey Basin. Most of our cutties were 8" - 13". The cabin was GREAT!!

The decor was beautiful and in such good taste. The cabin was so peaceful and the area outside on the Wind River was just beautiful and inviting. I wish I could have stayed longer. It was truly a great getaway. I hope to stay longer next year. Polly Freeman

What a wonderful week we had! Despite some rain & overcast days, we covered a lot of ground! The cabin is a great base camp for daily trips to Yellowstone, Grand Tetons and so many other beautiful sights in and around Dubois. We so enjoyed coming back to our cozy cabin each night & relaxing in front of the fire & finally crashing in the comfy beds. Some highlights of our trip: horseback riding at the Crooked Creek Ranch up on Union Pass. Great prices and gorgeous views! We also enjoyed all the sights & sounds on our many hikes through Yellowstone, Grand Tetons and the Dubois Badlands. We'll definitely be back!

We had an excellent stay. The location and cabin were beautiful. The owners have an excellent eye for decor. My daughter, wife and I had such a relaxing time, that we plan to rent the cabin again and hopefully for a week next time. The river in the backyard was great for relaxing and barbecuing. This really was a dream vacation for those who wish to relax in a quiet rustic town.
