Francois, who hails from Lyon, France, settled in Vancouver more than 20 years ago. A longtime art director for film and TV, Francois has made Home Suite Home into his ongoing “design project.” He’s the one behind the eclectic sculpture, rare plants and exotic colour schemes that give Home Suite Home its quirky charm. A certified “laughter yoga” instructor, Francois spends most days in the garden, chattering in French to his two beloved dogs, Sofie and Bingo.
While Francois’ mind soars in the clouds, Czech-born Petr has feet firmly planted on earth. A professionally-trained masseuse with 12 years of spa, resort and clinical experience, Petr loves to work with his hands. With his soft-spoken perfectionism, he is the one who brings Francois’ crazy design ideas to fruition, and who handles the lion’s share of construction and maintenance at Home Suite Home.

from the comfort of a true home, with absolutely everything anyone would need and much much more, to the incredible care by Petr and Francois. You mention anything, and they will find it for you. They are dear kind people. It's clear they love what they do, as it's done so well. must mention the crisp fresh bedding, sharp knifes, tv and dvd's, music center with lots of cd's, hot tub, umbrella's, cozy and very very clean. I would return over and over again.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway.

Hosts Francois and Petr have done a fantastic job at making the Kitsilano suite a comfortable retreat for couples, families, and pet dogs alike! The listing on VRBO is accurate and the pictures are as beautiful as the place itself. Overall the property is super clean and meticulously maintained. Beds are comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped, and the back deck has a gas barbeque to boot. Wireless internet and a flatscreen TV are also available. Their attention to detail is amazing and they are helpful and accommodating with additional requests. All of their other suites are equally phenomenal. Their place is the only place my family and I stay when in Vancouver. The property is within walking distance of W. Broadway that offers a variety of shopping and dining options and it is also within walking distance to the beach. The University of British Columbia campus is a short drive away (approx. 10 minutes). I highly recommend this place. It is a perfect retreat!

Francois and Petr and terrific hosts! They think of every detail and have created delightful suites that are immediately comfortable and welcoming. The location is fantastic. I highly recommend them and would love to stay in their suites again someday.

Wir haben einige Woche in einer anderen Suite verbracht: geschmackvolle, kreative Einrichtung, sehr gepflegt und sauber, tolle Lage in einem ruhigen grünen Wohnviertel wenige Blocks von der trendigen West 4th Avenue entfernt. Die Vermieter Francois und Petr tun alles, damit man sich bei Ihnen und in der Stadt wohlfuehlt, sei es durch hervorragende Tips oder durch die herzliche Art, wie sie sich um Wohnung und Ausstattung kümmern. Man fuehlt sich, als sei man zu Gast bei Freunden und hat trotzdem absolute Privatsphäre. Wir würden immer wieder hinfahren!
