Wailea, a planned community, is the most beautiful area on the island, noted for its sunny weather, breathtaking beaches, golf courses, tennis, shopping and restaurants. Wailea has a lovely beachside path which is a great place for a morning jog or a sunset stroll. It is truly a premiere vacation destination.
The Palms at Wailea is a unique complex of two-story, stucco buildings with 150 units centered by a clubhouse with a saltwater pool and Jacuzzi that have stunning sunset views. The outstanding Keawakapu Beach is a leisurely half mile walk or a quick drive from the Palms.
Our spacious ground floor condo (1022 square feet plus 473 square feet of lanai) is located on the coveted inner circle with its lovely landscaping of palms, flowering ginger and hibiscus. The L-shaped lanai has a garden view with the beauty of a pond and babbling brook and is tiled with Italian ceramic tile. This unit is most desirable for its proximity to the pool and has a level entry, just steps from your designated parking place.
Our modern, updated condo provides a relaxing, soothing atmosphere. It is decorated in an elegant, Hawaiian style with comfortable furniture, newer bathrooms and lovely artwork. There is air conditioning in the living room as well as the bedroom, a king size bed with memory foam and pillow top(queen convertible sofa in living room with pillow top pad) two full baths, lush towels and high thread count linens, a fully equipped kitchen featuring Cusinart cookware, coffeemaker, four slice toaster and an Oster Blender for those relaxing tropical drinks and a Martha Stewart spice rack. The condo has two TVs(a 40 inch flat screen LCD in living room), DVD player, a CD player, free calls to U.S. and Canada, free high speed internet in the unit with WiFi. There are easy to carry Tommy Bahama beach chairs, a matching Tommy Bahama umbrella, plenty of beach towels, beach mat, beach tote bag, sand pail and shovel, two boogie boards and a large cooler on wheels for our guests.
The covered lanai, which can be accessed from both the living room and bedroom, has abundant outdoor furniture: a dining set, a sitting area with love seat, chairs and a coffee table, two lounge chairs all with Sunbrella soft, plush cushions. There is a Weber gas BBQ. Enjoy outdoor eating with the convenience of a direct pass-thru from the kitchen.

- The sunrise at the top of the volcano, Haleakala, is awe-inspiring. Whale watching season on Maui: December-April. Every year Humpback Whales migrate from Alaska to Maui’s waters. These magnificent creatures can be seen from shore or viewed more closely from a variety of whale watching boat tours.

Our family just returned from a 2 week stay at The Palms. This was our 2nd time at The Palms, but first time in this condo. Location is perfect, only footsteps away from the pool, fantastic view of the tropical garden, beautiful lanai. We really enjoyed our walks/runs in the morning on the paved trail near the beach, which is only a five minute walk from the condo. We like the location of the Palms, on a quiet road and yet only minutes away from the hustle and bustle. The condo is equipped with all the necessary amenities, kitchen appliances, towels/linens. Everything was very clean and well organized. We will for sure come back to this place.

My family of 4 enjoyed staying in this wonderful condo for 4 nights. After staying at 2 hotels on our vacation, staying here with the conveniences of home was a real treat! We enjoyed going to beach (very close) and driving to Haleakala (not close, but beautiful drive on curvy road) during the day and cooking dinner at the condo at night. We ate almost all our meals outside & it was wonderful. This place was a great place to stay & I would recommend it for a couple or family with children. We would definitely stay here again. It was easy to contact the owner and book - everything is as advertised. Thank you!

My boyfriend and I stayed here in June and it was a great stay! The owner was always very responsive and accomodating to all my questions and concerns. We would definitely stay here again!! The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. Everything in the unit worked well including the A/C. The condo was nearby the pool which was very nice, but we never heard too much noise from the pool. The condo was very quiet! There was good closet and drawer space, and the shower was nice. I am very tall and I am always wondering if the shower will be OK for me. This one was a tall shower and updated fixtures. The reserved parking spot was very convenient right outside the condo. I liked the location of the Palms, right in between the town of Kihei with everything you need, and on the other side was all the luxury resorts in Wailea. I'm glad we stayed in this location instead of the hustle and bustle of Kihei. Every morning I took a run down the street and found a little paved path near the beach where I could take in the scenery. If you want to splurge at a Spa, go to the Grand Wailea Resort--it's so nice! Also, check out Tutu's Pantry for tropical jams and butters! (a small location in Kihei and a larger one in Lahaina)

My husband and I just came back from Maui and this lovely condo. It is very well equipped and convenient. The lanai was really large and a great area to barbecue. The swimming pool is just steps away and although the unit is in a complex it is quite private and very quiet. I did not want to leave this piece of heaven.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, age 55+, sightseeing.

My husband and I just returned from 7 nights in this lovely condominium at the Palms. We have stayed at the Palms in the past and highly recommend this condo for its location, cleanliness, amenities and wonderful kitchen. We felt very comfortable and right at home. The owners definitely show pride of ownership in the upgrades that they have done. Though we have loved all of our stays at the Palms, renting a unit through VRBO was highly preferable to going through Outrigger directly.

We had a fabulous stay Nov 20-Dec 8, 2010-the condo is well appointed and maintained. The location is great-close to the pool and great to sit out and see the grounds/view. We have stayed at the Palms the last 5years, always at different units but plan on being back to this unit this fall. Great choice for a relaxing enjoyable Maui stay.

My family and I just returned from a week long stay in this condo. This is our second stay in this condo and we really enjoyed it. The pictures shown on the web site reflects the apperance of the condo. I would say this condo is spacious, clean, and well appointed with all of our needs. We enjoy the pool, bbq, and that the complex is quite. The sunsets are amazing from the lawn area just beyond the patio. We like this location as we enjoying walking with our family to the nearby beaches and walking path along the beaches of Wailea. Members traveling in our family include a teenager and he enjoyed this location. I would recommend this propety to friends and relatives.

My family and I stayed here in early April and we had a wonderful time. The kids loved the pool and the beach. We boogie boarded, we snorkelled and built sandcastles. Everyone was sad to head home. The condo itself had lots of room for our family of 4 and everything we needed. My husband loved the bbq. The photos accurately reflect the location. Everything was very clean and well maintained. I would recommend this place to a friend and we are hoping to go back soon.

We just stayed in Nancy's condo at the Palms and want to add that the description on the website is very accurate. It is a lovely condo, well-equipped with anything you might need for a pleasant stay. It is situated close to the pool, within walking distance of the Wailea Shops and a short distance from several lovely beaches. Nancy is a very collegial and concerned owner. We were there during the tsunami warning and she was in constant contact with us via e-mail which we really appreciated. I would definitely recommend these accommodations.
