“Hi Melissa & Michael: I want to say thank you so very much for the opportunity to stay in your home last week. We had such a wonderful stay there and just wanted to tell you both what an absolutely charming home you have. It felt so comfortable that it was like being at home but with fantastic views that constantly changed & it seemed that every time you looked out the windows you saw something different. Those mountains alone changed all the time from minute to minute. We were lucky enough to see many rainbows and even a double rainbow which I've never seen so I thought that was really cool. Everyone was stopping in front of the villa at the park to take pictures because it was just so beautiful. Hey and what about those sunsets....WOW!It was a bit rainy which we knew happens and one day it just poured all day so of course it was a perfect excuse to SHOP!!!! After shopping we came home, made dinner and watched "South Pacific" which was fun as neither one of us had seen it for years and being there really made it neat cause we could relate after being at the beach area that was in the movie. So thanks for providing that and also all the info. books and magazines which we went through for some ideas. They were very helpful.We did do quite a bit while there. We took the Zodiac raft trip (awesome) and saw dolphins all around us and we had two male whales showing off for a female, all right in front of our boat and even one went right under us...it was just fantastic. We also went kayaking on the Wailea River, and took a helicopter trip around the island, did some hiking, boogie boarded on the waves in Lydgate State Park...just had a blast. Needless to say, we consider this one of the best trips we have ever had and we both so much want to come back again some day. We would highly recommend your villa to anyone. “Mom and I had a wonderful time. We ended up taking a sunset sail on Mom’s 80th birthday (which included local dinner from Mark’s), so we didn’t end up at a fancy restaurant after all. We found a lot of the local joints like Hamura’s Saimin, Ono’s Restaurant, Kountry Kitchen, and even hole in the wall Sueoka’s which was quite tasty and cheap! I’m starting to crave shave ice just thinking about our trip! On my return trip back to CO, I managed to pack up exactly 50lbs of goodies in my 1 checked bag for my friends and co-workers. LOTS of mac nuts and such. Anyway, I thank you again for sharing your wonderful home with us.”

“I just wanted to let you know that everything is perfect. We had fabulous weather yesterday, our first full non travel day. Packed in a walk over to Hideaways, an early snorkel at Tunnels, and even a little boarding. Every time I think, "I need to tell Melissa they could use"... I find it seconds later. Your home is making our stay wonderful. Mahalo!”

“So first, you and your husband have a wonderful place and even though the weather wasn't perfect the trip was and we had a great time. I've been to Maui a number of times and we had been to Kauai once before but I have never seen storm surf like we had the second week, it was spectacular. There was an area just coming into Kapaa, a surf area called Crack 14 and the waves were breaking close to 25 feet. It was something you see on TV, unfortunately someone did not have a good day but watching the jet skiers traverse those monsters was incredible. Just goes to show that sunshine isn't always responsible for amazing beauty.Again, a fantastic home. Thanks again!”
