Location: The Inn at Summerwind is located on the beautiful island of Santa Rosa. Santa Rosa Island is a major barrier island on the Gulf of Mexico. The Inn at Summerwind is between Navarre Beach State Park and the Gulf Islands National Seashore. Navarre Beach is half way between the cities of Pensacola and Fort Walton.
Accommodations: Our 3rd floor condominium has 3 bedrooms and three full baths. The living room also has sofa with a queen size sleeper. Our unit sleeps a total of 8 people.
Crystal blue water, pristine white sand, stretches of undeveloped beach and a great shell collecting area just a few steps from the condo.
Summerwind’s amenities include beach front, three pools and three hot tubs, charcoal grills and picnic areas and fully equipped indoor work-out area with ocean view. All amenities are in place to ensure maximum enjoyment.
The master suite has a king size bed, ocean view with balcony access. The private bath has a walk-in shower and jetted hot tub and a well lit double vanity. The suite also includes walk-in closet and TV/DVD.
The second bedroom has a queen size bed with private bath and TV/DVD. A third bedroom has twin beds, TV/DVD and private bath.
The fully furnished living area has a queen size pull out sofa bed and plenty of seating room for relaxing while enjoying the Gulf view. The living area includes a fully equipped entertainment center as well as high speed internet access for your convenience. Full equipped kitchen overlooks the dining and living area. The condo includes a full size washer and dryer. Ceiling fans are in the living area and bedrooms. The wrap around balcony gives views of the Gulf of Mexico and Santa Rosa Bay.
Navarre Beach has miles of jogging and biking trails directly across the street from the Inn at Summerwind. Fishing facilities and a brand new boat ramp are located directly across the street from the Inn at Summerwind. Other activities are surfing, kayaking and wind surfing right out your front door. Enjoy restaurants within walking distance.

Our stay at this property was utterly amazing and wonderfully peaceful. The location on the third floor made the elevators or stairs a quick and easy trip. Ample parking was available at Summerwinds. From the moment we opened the door, we knew this would be the best VRBO property we had stayed at. The condo was spotlessly clean. Each room was beautifully and comfortably decorated. The wrap around balcony porch opened out to the pool, the beach and a lovely view of the new pier. We were so impressed with the quietness of the condo despite it being a busy summer week. This let us fully relax. We could have been the only occupants based on the complete lack of noise from other units. The WiFi was faster then we have at home which was important to us since we still had work to do via computer. The TV and DVD player in the living room were very nice. I was impressed at how well the kitchen was stocked. There was never a need to run the dishwasher after every meal because there was plenty of dishes, glasses and silverware. The kitchen utensils, knives and pans are top quality letting you know that the owners want you to feel right at home. This made meal time preparation a pleasure instead of a challenge. Both of us are very physically active and this location met our needs. I was very happy to find Summerwinds located at the start of the walking trail that runs the length of Navarre. My husband brought his road bike and was pleased with the ease of traveling on the roads from the condo. He was also able to surf for much of our week at the beach. We dined out at the Grand Marlin on incredible seafood. For lunch one day, we found the Portabella Cafe in Pensacola to be light and refreshing. We will definitely return to this beautiful condo.

This is about as perfect as it gets. Navarre Beach is a truly charming place, small, cozy, but near enough to fantastic restaurants, shops, etc. Great privacy because it is between two parks. This condo is absolutely outstanding, and is beautiful, well-appointed, very comfortable, and with absolutely gorgeous views. We love everything about it. The kitchen was extremely well-furnished, and, on the third floor, this unit allows you to see and hear everything about the beach. The wi-fi is the best we've every run across, and the people who work at this immaculate condo are very, very friendly. Best of all, this condo features only five units per floor so there are never any crowds, very little noise, and you never have to wait for an elevator. To top it all off, Jim and Jean Carmack, the owners, are outstanding hosts who do everything possible to make your stay a memorable one. You will absolutely love this place!
