Ambiance abounds with our newly renovated knotty pine interior, hardwood floors, stone fireplace and plenty of windows overlooking the sparkling bay. The upstairs features two cozy, comfortable bedrooms. Both have gorgeous views of the bay from their lofty perch among the birch trees and evergreens.
Northern Michigan summers are sensational. On warm days, enjoy all the water sports you can handle on the Back Bay or head around the point and up the Sainte Mary's River for a bigger adventure on Lake Superior. Fishing is excellent. Less than 5 miles away, is the premiere golf course, Wild Bluff. It was rated by Golf Digest as the best course in the Upper Pennisula and located at Bay Mills Resort and Casino.

Hello. We are the Reattoir family - Dan(the dad), Jennifer(the mom), Abby(beautiful daughter) & Ben(adorable son). We absolutely love our cabin and hope you will too. It is one of our very favorite places to spend our precious free time as a family. We enjoyed the extensive renovation that we undertook when we bought the property, but we enjoy being done with that phase even more. We continually make improvements in small projects each year (new windows, etc,)but now take the time to enjoy the fruits of our labor. :)
Why the Owner Chose Brimley
Location, location, location! We love spending summertime on the Back Bay. Bay Cottage is very near my parents cabin. It was originally almost hidden by trees, but my mom noticed the potential. By a stroke of luck, we heard the previous owners may be selling, so we let them know we were interested right away. It never even went on the market. Properties on the Back Bay do not come up for sale often and usually sell very quickly.
The Unique Benefits of this Cottage
It is simply the most relaxing place we know. It is perfect for family "together time". It allows for each family member's ideal ratio of play/rest. There are so many wonderful outdoor activities that you can choose to do or not do as you please. And the coziness factor indoors with the stone fireplace lit, the card games, the dark night with crickets chirping - it just can't be beat!
