Our property is a private home located within The Sanctuary community at the Tubac Golf Resort.
The property since across the street from the fairway and has a beautiful view of the mountains. The clubhouse is less than 2 blocks away.
The home itself is 2 bedrooms and has a “great room” layout. The Master King suite is over 200 square feet and includes a spacious walk-in closet.
The bath has twin copper basins and walk-in circular tiled shower. This spacious bedroom, besides a King bed and sitting area, includes a 42-inch plasma HDTV and a DVD player.
The smaller Queen suite also has a beautiful tiled walk in shower, vanity and walk-in closet. The great room layout includes a “bee hive” gas fireplace, a spacious dining area seating six, a breakfast bar, gas range and a fully accessorized kitchen including granite counter tops.
For your relaxing pleasure there is a nicely furnished patio area with a large fountain and barbeque. For entertainment there is a 50 inch plasma HDTV and DVD.
The resort’s 27-hole golf course is situated along the Santa Cruse River among majestic mesquite and cottonwood trees. You may have already seen some of its beauty in the movie “Tin Cup” with Kevin Costner where it was filmed.
This first class resort is fully appointed offering a spa, wellness center, shops and two first class restaurants.
An easy stroll away is the artists’ community of Tubac with studios, shops, restaurants and the state park of Tubac Presidio. A trip through their web site will better acquaint you with special events and many other facts of interest.
A short drive south on old Nogales highway is the national historic park of Tumacacori with it’s historic mission and town ruins. Continuing south on Hwy. 19 about 23 miles is the Mexican border and the cities of Nogales, AZ. and Nogales, Mexico.
Heading north from Tubac is the city of Green Valley with five public golf courses, the only remaining Titan Nuclear Missal site left (without the warhead thank goodness).
Daily tours are given and it is more interesting than you might expect. Further down the road is the Mission San Xavieer with it’s stunning White Towers and fascinating history.
About forty minutes north from Tubac is Tucson, Arizona with it’s many fine restaurants, shops and cultural activities. Home of the University of Arizona. The Pima Air Museum is located just a short distance from the freeway. Other don’t miss things to do are too numerous to list, but a tour of the web will help you out.
