Awsome, is a word that is used to describe an event that has exceeded the expectations of the individual or group. If there is a word that would express the overall experience that we had at the Lake Home, it would be Awsome... Awsome, because the instructions on how to access the home were simple, Awsome, because the views were extrodinary, Awasome, because if there are any questions or situations that arise, the Team of Associates respond immediately and if needed they will be there to insure that everything will be taken care of discreatly and promptly. Awsome, because the customer service is triple A rated and the community is welcoming in informative. My family and friends are still speaking very well of the entire experience. Doug and Ron are Awsome... Thank you, Thank you, Thank you...

The Perfect Stay for Mother's Day

My sister in-law assisted me in finding a close getaway in Atlanta for Mother's Day. This Mother's Day could have been an emotional one with the recent loss of our Grandmother. However, there was so much to enjoy that we didn't have time for sadness only celebration. Both my mother and mother-in-law stated that this was the perfect stay for Mother's Day and every mother should have a chance to enjoy a vacation like this. The lake and the view was the center of attention. The two kitchens (2 refrigerators) came in handy because we prepared so much food. This is not a rental..it's a home away from home! Make plans to return because we are planning to make this a family ritual!

We so enjoyed this beautiful and roomy Lake Jackson Home. With our family size we were able to relax and totally enjoy this spacious home. Every aspect of it was great, from the open living areas to the hot tub to the dock. We were able to enjoy every part of it. Even though it rained one day of our stay, the house is large enough for everyone to do their own thing wherever. We loved it there and our kids commented on how comfortable and relaxing it is. It was a blast and we made wonderful memories. Thank you so much for such a wonderful place to come and have such a great time. The home is tastefully designed, well equipped and made us feel right at home. Definitely a five star.***** Thanks to Ron and Doug and your families. Hope to see you in the future~

Cousin's Weekend on Lake Jackson

Our 12 family members (5 cousins, 3 husbands, 4 adult kids) enjoyed 5 days on Lake Jackson at this property in Sept. The house is exactly as described - spacious, well appointed, clean and comfortable. Originally, we had thought about driving up to Atlanta to go to the Aquarium or maybe the baseball game, but who wanted to leave such a great spot??!! We spent a lot of time cooking, eating, chatting, playing cards - we even turned the downstairs living room into a yoga room for about 8 of us! The lake was inviting on those hot afternoons, and some of us even got some exercise in the paddleboat and the canoe. Even though there were two complete kitchens in the house, no one wanted to split up - so we took turns cooking and eating. The owners sent out complete instructions re: opening and closing the house. One of the owners even came by the last day to meet with a contractor, and it was great to put a face to the name. I would heartily recommend this property to anyone who has a large group and wants a modern, lovely home for their vacation.

We enjoyed a week of family togetherness with our entire family--7 adults and 6 children. This home fit so well for all of us--we had quiet reading spots, karoake for entertainment, a grill for cookouts, games, TV, movies and a boat dock filled with fun (boating, fishing, and hanging out in the lake). Even our 3-year old enjoyed jumping off the dock and joining in the fun. Lake Jackson is hard to beat for a family vacation but would be a great spot to reconnect with old friends too.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying in this house with four other couples. The house is beautifully decorated and well maintained. Every evening found us on the back deck enjoying the beautiful view of the lake. There are two grocery stores about 15 minutes away and stocking up on food was very easy. We enjoyed our time their and hope to return next year.

My family and I have always gone to Blue Ridge Mountains for our weekly bonding. This year, we decided to visit this lovely home on Jackson Lake with our 34ft RV, which it accommodated well. Words cannot describe this beautiful decorated house, the outside grounds, the porches and the beautiful lake. And, since I run and walk as a passion, the secluded road entrance provided me with just enough distance to satisfy my hobby. The living area downstairs was perfect for my in-laws. They had all of the necessities of a house i.e., full kitchen, bedrooms, dinnette area, bathroom, family room and the laundry room as well as a screened porch. Although we missed the pool and ping pong tables as well as the hot tub, three items we have always desired on all of our trips, the house and all of its inside and outside features brought us much joy and comfort during our stay. We are already planning to return next year. SDB (Woodbine, GA)

We had the pleasure of staying at this incredible home for our first annual Savannah women's writers retreat in August of 2009. During our five days and four nights we enjoyed not only the spacious clean well appointed home, but also all the lake activity too- we swam. Paddle boated and relaxed on the dock. The memories generated during our stay were very happy - and we think in large part it was due to having such a gorgeous place to stay:) Thank you!
