Lush green backyard with flowering garden and two furnished brick patios accessed by French doors from the kitchen and living room. The mahogany outdoor shower is a New England experience! Relax, suntan in a private spot or nap on the hammock. Or, seek the bustle downtown nearby with no more than a 5 minute walk (0.50 mile) to main street shops and restaurants and a 10 minute walk to the harbor. Easy to walk in for a coffee and newspaper and independence for your nanny/teenager to go out for ice cream and a movie.
Interiors appeal to discriminating tastes. Central air conditioning. The kitchen is a favored gathering spot - sunny, wood floored with a spacious center island that seats 5 and an antique finished pine dining table that seats 8. Other particulars include small TV, wet bar, wine rack, desk and stereo speakers in both the kitchen and living room. The washer/dryer is in a kitchen closet for easy access. The living room is a comfortable lounge space featuring fireplace, TV armoire, large sofas and chairs with down filled throw pillows. The cozy upstairs den is a comfortable escape with another TV, stocked book case and small desk area. Wi-fi access throughout.
The downstairs master with queen bed has an ensuite bathroom with shower which also serves as the downstairs powder room. Upstairs, a second "master" also has a queen bed and is located directly across from the second bathroom with shower and bathtub that features new fixtures from its renovation in 2004. Two additional bedrooms each have two twins beds. All bedrooms feature welcoming, tasteful wall colors, decorative seascape touches and crisp white cotton bedspreads - everyone has their personal favorite! The upstairs den has a full sized futon if needed.
Convenient outdoor bike rack is at the side of the house on the driveway for a quick ride to nearby biking trails and beaches. (Bike rental shops are located downtown.)
