With three stories of comfortable open space, five bedrooms, five and one half baths, great room, separate recreation/video room, two car garage and large storage and laundry room, this home comfortably accommodates 13 guests. Each of two master bedrooms, one on the main floor and other on the upper floor, have tall ceilings, large comfortable king size beds, huge closets, beautiful scenery and private, spacious baths. The suite on the top floor has its own stone fireplace and scenic balcony. Both master suite bathrooms are finished in the best materials and have heated travertine floors, large showers, huge jetted tubs, slab travertine counters, under counter sinks and thick wood trim and doors. Each suite is additionally wired for sound playing from the great room and a 20” flatscreen TV.
Guests in each of the remained three bedrooms will be treated to equal quality finishes. The second bedroom on the third floor contains three peeled log beds and an attached bath with shower/tub, and slab travertine counter with sink. The first of the two bottom floor bedrooms contains a queen bed and private bathroom with travertine counter and sink and nicely finished show/tub. The second bottom floor bedroom contains two sets of peeled log bunks and double door exit to the ground level patio. Just outside this bedroom is a full bath, and the recreation/video room. The base floor recreation room has a large leather couch, 42” LCD TV and double door exit to the main ground level patio.
The second, or middle floor, is where most of the action takes place. A gourmet kitchen flows seamlessly into a large dinning and great room. The table at the center of the dinning area is made of thick slab wood, surrounded by comfortable leather chairs. he great room is highlighted by a twenty foot tall stone fireplace crowned with a wood beam mantle and giant Elkhorn elk. Both the dinning and great room flow through double wood doors to the raised stone accented deck with BBQ. Bring your best cd’s so you can pipe your favorite tunes through the house. The stereo system in the great room controls speakers placed in the great room, recreation room, kitchen, master bedrooms, and master baths.
This home is the perfect retreat for large families or groups to enjoy all that Sun Valley has to offer. Included in your stay is access to all the Elkhorn village amenities including village store, pool, hot tub, sauna, tennis courts, bike paths, exercise room, Elkhorn ski lift, and golf course access (golf and tennis charges apply).
