You will feel right at home the moment you walk through the door of this charming historic home. The home sits on a hill overlooking the Victorian mining town of Georgetown. A short walk into town leads to shopping, museums, restaurants and more.
You may never want to leave the house though--there are two king size tempurpedic beds and a queen size tempurpedic. If you prefer a softer mattress, the queen size Stearns and Foster is just right for you!
The house has all the modern amenities you want, including Wi-Fi, whole house audio with XM radio, CDs, or your own I-Pod. Eat in the dining room that seats 10 or in the kitchen which seats 6. Bar-B-Que on the back patio and watch for deer, mountain goats and big horn sheep. Sit on the front porch and watch the world go by. Or sit up in the Fort and look over the town below. Take a ride on the famous Georgetown Loop Railroad or visit the many other local attractions.
For a very reasonable fee, you can send us your grocery list and we will have your food waiting for you when you arrive. We want you to feel like you are in your very own mountain retreat!

Owner's Map of Georgetown
We're a military family who have moved a lot. We wanted to finally own a home that we can enjoy and maintain, long-term, in our favorite place in the world- the Colorado Rockies. We have two boys and a cat who love the house and the town as much as we do and have kid-tested everything! It has been the setting of many small and large gatherings for our brood with gigantic Thanksgiving dinners and Easter Egg hunts as well as the best meals in the world (the meals you eat after a day of skiing are ALWAYS the best meals in the world).
