Located in the Beaufort Historic District on Courthouse Square, Lighthouse Cottage is newly renovated and has one bedroom with a queen size bed, one bathroom with Kohler fixtures, a washer and dryer, is fully furnished kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, dishes, and pots and pans. Also included are an iron, ironing board, and hairdryer.

There is also a phone with an answering machine and free long distance in the continental US, as well as a TV with a DVD, DVD library, and high-speed Roadrunner internet service.

Also available are two beach cruiser bikes and helmets, a Weber kettle charcoal grill, grilling accessories, a patio with four wicker chairs, a cooler, two beach chairs, two beach towels, and two boogie boards. Off-street parking for one car is also provided.

The Beaufort waterfront is an interesting two block walk away, and numerous beaches, museums, restaurants, shops,and historic sites are nearby. A free public access boat ramp is one-half mile away, and the New Bern airport is about 40 miles away.

All linens are provided, and the cleaning fee is included in the weekly rental rate. This is a no-smoking and no pets rental.

  • PERFECT WEEKEND GETAWAY COTTAGE!!! Located in the beautiful Beaufort historic district and within walking distance to all of the shops, restaurants and waterfront. Minutes to Atlantic Beach, Fort Macon and Morehead City. The Lighthouse Cottage has all of the amenities that you will need from a flat screen TV, Internet, washer and dryer, full kitchen, beach chairs and spacious closets. They have thought of everything that you may need to make your visit a success. From china to a beach cooler, you no longer have to bear the hassle of bringing everything with you. At the Lighthouse Cottage it is all here waiting for your arrival! I highly recommend the Lighthouse Cottage, it was a wonderful experience and we will be back again and again!

  • Too much to say ... ALL POSITIVE! We usually stay at the beach, but have been Beaufort regulars for 20+ years. The Lighthouse was fabulous for the two of us ... all the amenities, convenient, super clean, quiet, restful,and VERY comfortable .. not to mention the proximity to many of our favorite places and old friends. The beach is a few minutes away with public access at Fort Macon (2 places), Atlantic Beach (about the 7.5 mile marker), Indian beach and many more. We love the place. We've stayed in various places in Beaufort and on the beach during our quarterly visits. We highly recommend the Lighthouse and will make it our preference in Beaufort. Thanks Deborah for providing such a wonderful getaway!

  • We enjoyed our week long stay at the Lighthouse cottage. The cottage was very clean and fresh and our hostess responded quickly to a flat tire on one of the bikes. I would definately stay there again and highly recommend this to anyone interested in the area.
