Alpine Village Resort is located in the beautiful community of Swansea Point. Just steps away from the Mara Lake public beach and boat launch. Suite 2 is a studio style suite, with open concept living. Large bright kitchen, large deck with patio set. Shared back yard fire pit with two other suites. Newly renovated suite in Summer 2008, all new furniture, appliances and top quality beds. Bedding included (duvet and memory foam pillows).
Are you traveling with Children? There is a summer day camp in the area for children ages 5 - 12 offering organized activities, arts and crafts, beach fun and more! Half day prices $10, full day prices $18, weekly pass (five days) $75 and monthly pass (20 days)for $275. Camp starts June 29th until August 28th 2009. See your unit guide upon arrival for details.
This is a great place for water lovers in the summer, and or skiing, sledding or snowboarders in the winter. This area offers the best sledding and quading trails.

Year Purchased: 2006
I live just outside Calgary, Alberta with my family; Husband Bill and daughter Danika. I bought Alpine Village Resort with my husband in 2006. Alpine Village Resort was a camp ground with 7 cabins and 21 camping stalls and a house. We developed the property into 18 lots consisting of 4 cabins and 13 RV lots and our House, which are now all privately owned (of course we kept the house). We decided in 2008 to convert our large house into three suites to rent out to the public. It was a fantastic experience for us.
Why the Owner Chose Sicamous
Swansea Point is a beautiful location; far from the noise of the Highway, secluded in its own little world. Yet we are only minutes away from Sicamous to get all the necessities. There are lots of mature trees, mountain and lake views. Plus the location to the lake/beach and boat launch is ideal. I fell in love right away. Once I am able to retire, my family will move here from Calgary.
The Unique Benefits of this Suite in House
Our beds are the best! Guests have left messages in our guest book that they want to take our beds home with them. We have top quality mattress', with memory foam pillows and duvets on all beds.
A suite guide has been prepared describing all the activities in the area, maps, and other info to get the best out of your trip.
We are extremely close to the boat launch and we have a large parking spot for a boat trailer.
There are many quad and sled trails in the near vicinity. A 40 minute drive to one of the best ski hills in Revelstoke and 40 mintues to the ski hill in Vernon.
