I highly recommend staying at Sunset Villa's in Costa Rica in Mal Pais. It is beautiful, and 5 star like lodging. The view is amazing from the pool (and Villa). There are lots of great resturants near by, and lots of activities as well (surfing, fishing, yoga, spa, etc). Sunset Hill Private Viila is perfect for a group visit (small or large). I am hoping to go back soon for a relaxing visit.

I have stayed at Sunset Hill twice over the last few years and the home and town just gets better and better. The main home is very tastefully decorated with bright colors and modern and new furniture. Two guest villas are great for older children or couples. Mal pais is a great place to learn to surf, have an eco-adventure or just sit on the beach and have fabulous and inexpensive meals. This truly is an unspoiled part of the world.

This the most relaxing vacation I've ever been on. The house is the perfect way to enjoy the natural beauty of Costa Rica but in luxurious conditions. We went to some great restaurants that were all recommended in the owners helpful information packet. Also, it was very easy to book horseback riding tours and zipwire activities right in the town which were a lot of fun. I would highly reccomend this property.

I had an unforgettable time there. Everyday, I went surfing in the early morning, watched the sunset, and laid down beside the pool with the family to watch the shooting stars at night. The stars are must-see if you stay here. You can see so many that you can't even recognize easy constellations and Milky Way. I can't wait to go back there.
