This apartment is in the condominium complex called Marbella del Caribe right on Puerto Rico's Isla Verde beach, noted to be the best beach in San Juan. Located in the heart of the Isla Verde tourist area, we are surrounded by restaurants, shopping and the fabulous El San Juan Hotel and Casino, as well as the Intercontinental Hotel, The Ritz Carlton Hotel and the Embassy Suites. Water sports, including jet skis, banana boats and parasailing, are available right on our beach in front of the EJS Towers. The complex offers 24-hour security, beach access, and beautiful, private grounds that include a swimming pool, tennis court, volleyball/basketball court, playground, picnic tables and barbecues. Each apartment has its own private parking space on the premises. The complex also has a mini market. There is a bus stop right in front of the building. There is a vast array of restaurants from casual to formal within a few short blocks. There are several supermarkets, numerous souvenir shops, Charlie Car Rental and a Walgreens that is open 24 hours and has just about everything one could need from food, to beauty supplies, to beach gear. In addition, we are about 5 minutes from San Juan's International Airport: Luis Munos Marin Airport and only 15 minutes away from Condado and 20 minutes from Old San Juan.

We enjoyed our stay in Isla Verde very much! Nora is very easy to work with and the condo was just as described. The Walgreens across the street was very convenient and open 24 hours and had everything we needed. Our teenage boys enjoyed the basketball court and the pool area was never very crowded. We would have liked to enjoy the beach a little more, however spent lots of time traveling the island and visiting family. Very safe and secure area and liked the fact that keys were needed to enter all areas of condo!
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+, tourists without a car, families with young children.

MY FAMILY AND I STOOD 2 WEEKS IN JULY 2011 AND HAD A WONDERFUL TIME. THE BALCONY OVERLOOKING ISLA VERDE AVE WAS VERY ENTERTAINING. YOU COULD SEE MANY PLACES TO EAT AND AT NIGHT YOU COULD SEE WHERE EVERYONE WAS GOING TO PARTY. LIKE CONGO BAR UP TO STREET AND THE VIBE ACROSS THE STREET. THIS LOCATION PUTS YOU IN THE MIDST OF ALL ISLA VERDE HAS TO OFFER. WE ENJOYED THE POOL, BASKETBALL COURT AND THE EASY ACCESS TO THE BEACH. NORA WAS VERY ACCOMODATING AND EVERYTHING THAT SHE DESCRIBES ABOUT THE CONDO IS TRUE AND UP TO PAR. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS APT AND NORA TO ANYONE. THANKS NORA, WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK SOON.
