The Village of Gentle Slopes is located just outside of the town of Laurie, on the 3.5 mile marker of the Gravois Arm. Take blacktop roads, through flat, safe lake roads all the way to your doorstep. Start unwinding in one of our four amazing rustic lodges by spending a romantic weekend try the Buffalo with the Jacuzzi tub, and the indoor/outdoor fireplace which sleeps 8, or bring the whole family down to the Elk or the Cedar which have room for 12, that way you can all find your own private escape. Let the kids play up in their own bunk with equipped with multi use foosball table, big screen TV, and singing karaoke deer. Regardless of where you stay, you will have chosen the right spot.

Main Level: Full size kitchen equipped with stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, and all the other necessities to whip up your favorite dish. 42” Plasma TV, leather couches, rustic kitchen table, indoor/outdoor fireplace. Comfortable Queen Bedroom. Third bedroom with two sets of twin bunk beds. Full Bath

Upper Level: Enjoy the Beautiful Master Bedroom with Log King Bed with Master Bath. Drink Coffee in the morning from open loft area with spectacular views of Lake! Drift away in your Jacuzzi tub. Drink coffee in the morning while looking out at the lake from your own private loft.

Outdoor Amenities: 28-34 ft. boat slip available just a few steps out your door, fire pit, swim dock, blacktop walking trail, hammock, all with NO STEPS!

Other: New in 2006, 2 car/truck garage, very close boat ramp, boat rental that will bring it to the dock for you, private walking paths.

  • We stayed at this beautiful lodge and truly enjoyed every minute. The view is outstanding! The indoor/outdoor fireplace is awesome! It is a very serene place to relax and renew. We would highly recommend the Buffalo Lodge and hope to return soon.

  • THE HOYT FAMILY, ALL 10 OF US, HAD A GREAT TIME AND LOVED BUFFALO LODGE. IT'S UNUSUAL TO FIND A PLACE AS NICE AND AS CLEAN AND WELL MANAGED AT THE LAKE. KIDS LOVED THE FIRE PIT, EVEN IF IT WAS 100 DEGREES OUTSIDE! PLAN TO GO BACK NEXT YEAR. GRAND PARENTS LIKED TO LEVEL LOT...NO HILLS!

  • Beautiful Lodge!!! It rained the whole weekend, but it was a great place to be stuck inside! The lodge was clean, fully stocked and decorated down to the last detail...it was so cozy, and felt just like home! We would go back in a heartbeat, and plan to! Thanks :)
