'Bearadise' in the News: Bearadise was featured in the local newspaper, The Sierra Lodestar, as a 'veritable children's paradise and a mountain memory in the making'. The reporter, Jan Hovey wrote ' this cabin just stole my heart away'. December 15th, 2010.
A stone's throw away from Snowflake Lake and Lodge and the numerous resort facilities of Blue Lake Springs that are available Memorial Day through Labor Day.
It's that cute remodeled A-frame cabin you see peeking out of the forest across from Snowflake Lake. And the inside is every bit as quaint -- from the double-decker loft to the lodge pole pine furniture.
Relax in the cabin and enjoy foosball, basketball hoop, horseshoes, tether ball, tree house, zip line, play-set structures, seesaw, swings, movie collection, games, puzzles, books and wifi. You can also ask the kids to count the bears in the cabin (pssst, there are 114 bears), or let them run wild on the one-of-a-kind playground in the level backyard.
The full-stocked kitchen has all you need, including a bread-maker and cappuccino machine, and gas barbeque right on the deck. Newly remodeled and furnished, there are queen beds in both bedrooms, a queen futon in the loft, a double futon in the upper double-decker loft and a queen sleeper sofa in the living area.
This is a true mountain cabin experience with all the comforts of home (but none of the chores). Small pooches may be allowed, no smoking. Maximum 10 guests.
Arnold is surrounded by the Stanislaus National Forest, Big Trees State Park, the Gold Rush towns of Calaveras County, numerous lakes and rivers, award-winning wineries (including Kautz Ironstone Vineyards, Stevenot Vineyards, and Chatom Winery), 3 golf courses, three breathtaking caverns (California, Mercer and Moaning) and much more. At 4,000 ft elevation range, Bearadise lets you experience nature at its very best in all four gorgeous seasons.
In the winter months, Bearadise is the perfect ski cabin with new forced air gas heat and a wood stove for that crackling fire. Bear Valley ski resort, 20 miles to the east, is known as a family-friendly, affordable resort, which offers excellent downhill and cross country skiing for all skill levels, as well as other popular winter activities such as are sledding, snowshoeing, snowboarding and snowmobiling.
Fishing and water sports opportunities abound in the many lakes, streams and rivers including the Stanislaus River, Mokelumne River, Bear Creek, Rattlesnake Creek, New Melones Lake, Alpine Lake, Mosquito Lake, Union & Utica Reservoirs, and Spicer Reservoir.
Thank you and make yourself at home in Bearadise!

Bearadise is fantastic. When me, my mom, dad and brother were here, we counted 94 bears! My brother and I had a great time playing tetherball, swings, seesaw and slide. We all enjoyed having the lake so close to us. Thank you so much.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

About: Welcome to Bearadise, Thank you for taking the time to review our cabin Bearadise. It has been lovingly restored to its original flavor with cedar planks and knotty pines throughout the cabin. We love Bearadise, its surroundings and the wild life that share our neck of the woods from the wild rabbits and friendly squirrels to the naughty bears that visit us and think that we don't see them.....So, thank you for your interest in Bearadise and make yourself at home.
Why Arnold:
We choose Arnold and Calaveras county because it is only a couple of hours away from the Bay Area and also the Sacramento Area and yet it is a world away with its abundant wildlife, proximity to great skiing, snowboarding and sleighding at Bear Valley, great food and wines at Murphy's and Angels Camp and phenomenal state parks especially Big Trees State Park. We also liked the amenities that we have in Blue Lake Springs including two lakes, pool, great restaurant, volleyball, basketball and tennis courts.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
We built Bearadise to be a family paradise. The cabin is loaded with games to be played inside and outside. Kids will have a treehouse to play in, a seesaw made from a fallen tree, swings and parents have everything from sitting arrangements on both decks to a hammack where they can relax and listen to the birds sing. And if you need to use the amenities at Blue Lake Springs, you are only 2 blocks away....
