Located in the historic town of Aiken SC, well known for equestrian events, Broughton Place is a beautiful 4-year-old home nestled in a quiet neighborhood off the beaten path but within 5 minutes to shopping, great restaurants public recreation and less than a 30 minute drive to Augusta GA.
Feel right at home in the spacious sunny rooms with high ceilings and gorgeous hardwood floors. The well equipped kitchen is open to the great room and ideal for entertaining. Relax and enjoy the golf tournament on the 60" High Definition Sony TV with Bose audio system.
Have breakfast or dinner outside on the lovely screened porch or on the deck which sits high overlooking the beautifully landscaped backyard.
Escape to the private den upstairs to read a good book, watch TV or sneak a quick nap on the overstuffed leather sofa. All of the bathrooms are stocked with lots of soft, white towels, and a basket of toiletries in case you forget something. The master bedroom has a king size bed with pillow top mattress and soft luxury sheets and lots of pillows. Both guest bedrooms have new queen size pillow top mattresses and wonderful linens. You won't want to get out of bed in the morning!
Take the 10 minute drive to downtown Aiken where you will find unique shops, fine dining, and entertainment. Visit the museum, catch a play or musical at the Aiken Community Playhouse, browse the antique shops, specialty men's and women's apparel and gift shops, or stop in one of the many great restaurants or pubs.
