This ocean block house is located just 8 houses from the beautiful Lavallette beach. It is modern, clean and comfortable with all the amenities a family needs.
We're in a quiet neighborhood near restaurants, shopping, ice cream and fun! The Lavallette boardwalk is a scenic walk across the length of the town. Lifeguards are on duty at the ocean and the bayside. The beach is cleaned daily.
The friendly, family town of Lavallette is situated on a barrier island. You'll be between the rides and fun of Seaside Heights and Point Pleasant, and it's just over an hour's drive to Atlantic City.
We are renting the second floor of this home. Take a look at our roomy rooms - comfortable and relaxing!

We have just returned from our week "down the shore" and would definitely stay at this house again. It's so conveniently situated, immaculate, and has all the amenities, especially the deck with the ocean view. Paul & Sue were very helpful in answering the questions we had. We spent lots of time at the beach - it's great to just walk up the street and there it is! We also took advantage of the local attractions - the bay beach, the boardwalk, the water park are all easily accessible. We really enjoyed our take-out seafood dinner from Runners, a local fish market/restaurant, and of course visited the Music Man (walking distance) and the Ice Palace in Ortley Beach, both have terrific ice cream!
Recommended for:Families with young children, families with teenagers.

We rented from Paul and Sue for 2 years in a row...they are wonderful and pleasant and make sure that everything is taken care of for your stay. The rental unit is clean and comfortable, with enough living space for your family (and maybe some in-laws too!) We loved having the spacious deck with views of the ocean. And the washer, dryer, dishwasher and central air gave it the conveniences of home. You also have room to park 2 cars in the large driveway, and if you're smart you can catch a few spots on the street too! I'd say the only downfall--if you can call it that--is that it's on the second floor, and it might be inconvenient to carry your dinner upstairs from the grill if you're eating indoors. But we had two children under 2, and we didn't find it to be a problem (and that's with carrying babies and all their gear!!) Also, there is a large table and umbrella in the large backyard, so you can eat outside. The outdoor shower is perfect and refreshing, and you simply cannot beat the location! The house is literally yards from the beach and walking distance to anything and everything you could want or need. We enjoyed every minute of our stay, and the only reason we gave up our two-week block in August is because we bought a place of our own in Ortley—ONLY ONE BLOCK AWAY—!!! Rent this vacation home with confidence--you won't be disappointed!

This rental provided three adult and four children a perfect space to enjoy the Lavalette beach community for a week. The living room and bedrooms were roomy and clean and the kitchen well stocked with utensils for cooking real meals. The outdoor property was beautifully maintained with a clean shower, seasoned bar-be-que and comfortable picnic table. We enjoyed morning coffee and cooling evening breezes from the large deck equipped with comfortable furniture from which we could watch the activity on the street and the sun and moon risings - we lived out there! We were very pleased with owner's communication reguarding our arrival and questions. If were ever get back to Lavalette (from Seattle) we will be sure to try to stay here again!

My wife, 13yo daughter, my daughter's 13yo friend and I stayed here during summer 2009. The upstairs unit was very clean and comfortable. Our stay was during one of the hottest weeks of the summer. I glad to say that the AC worked very well. The bedrooms were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and had a dishwasher. The laundry machines all worked well and the property was very well maintained. A short walk to the beach and boardwalk, the upstairs deck/landing offered a ocean view and was a good place to have coffee and read a book in the morning and sunset hours. We walked to many Lavallette eateries for dinners and lunch. We had a very nice stay here and would be glad to return in the future. Pre-arrival communication with owner was excellent.
