Third time renting just as great as the first

We love this house. This was our third Thanksgiving there. We invite friends and family to join us for a couple of nights and the house easily accomodates all. But the best feature, by far, is the deck. You've got the view of the beach and the solitude of an expansive yard with coconut palms. Absolutely lovely. Grocery and gym are in walking distance - next year, we're just going to rent bikes instead of renting a car. (we only used the car to get back and forth to the airport).

If you are looking for a wonderful, relaxing vacation this is the place. The house sits back just a little from the road and the beach so you have privacy but unobstructed views. Having the palm trees and sea oats in front of the house adds a little tropical feel to the already great location. Comfortable beds and nice kitchen with plenty of seating. The house is equiped with everything you will need . We had seven people in our group and had plenty of space and privacy. The owners are very helpful and will take care of any issues that you may have. One of our favorite things about this house is the deck. The pictures don't do it justice. You are able to walk to Times Square and many places to eat. The sandbar in front of the house is a great afternoon hangout. Being able to take our dogs was another plus for us. I want to thank you for opening your home to us. We loved everything.

My husband and I (and our 2 dogs) stayed at the Pink Beach House over the Christmas holiday. The location could not have been better. The house is set back off the main road so you don't hear the cars driving by. It is also on the beach but set back with landscaping which makes laying out on the deck private. The beach was white powder and everytime you walked the beach you always found some kind of unique shells. We saw dolphins 2 days in a row which was awesome. The house was clean, warm and comfortable and the owner's were so friendly and helpful. We plan on coming back this spring and can't wait.

My friends and I absolutely loved our stay at the "Pink Haus." From the very beginning I could tell that Silvia and Marjan were wonderful people. We felt so at home at the Pink House. It was extremely clean and inviting. I can't recall how many times we spent out on the front deck, and it was difficult to do anything else but lay on the large comfortable couch on the covered porch. The beach is wonderfully close. If you're looking for a typical commercialized place- this is not your place. If you are looking for a charming place to call home away from home-this is definately the place. I miss it already. Thank you Silvia and Marjan for opening your home to us!

This beautiful home (more than just a house) was exactly as described on the website. From the moment we arrived and met our charming hosts we were enchanted with the eclectic and comfortable surroundings as well as the best location on Fort Myers Beach. The home was spotless and when Silvia and Marjon gave us a little tour and then invited us to feel free to use their beach towels, condiments, spices, etc. we felt like guests instead of renters. They were also very helpful in recommending a friend of theirs who could assist us in finding property on the island as that was the reason for our visit. The back porch was where we spent most of our time when we weren't on the beach. This porch was huge, partly covered, and fitted with furniture so comfortable, it was like sitting in a living room on a beach! The location of this home was perfect...far enough away from the crowds near Times Square, but close enough to walk to it. The trolley that runs in front of the home eliminated the need to drive so we were able to sample many of the bars and restaurants on Estero without a designated driver. We'll always remember our week there as one of the best vacations ever and wish to thank Silvia and Marjon for their generousity and kindness. We'll be back!

I chose this home because of the laid back appearance in the photos. They were right on target. This home is a perfect beach house. It is so beautifully eclectic. The art work and interior design is old world and a bit "hippy dippy" The porches on both the front and back of the home were so inviting that we often spent time in both places. Of course the beach as the backyard is the gem! To wake up and look directly at the beautiful gulf water and to feel the breeze through the house was surreal. The back porch however was the most coveted spot. It’s perfect for napping. We found ourselves repeating " I don't want to leave" and " I could die here" The "old" pink home (its not just a house) is located on Estero blvd. walking distance to the Topps supermarket and 1 mile to Publix. It is less than a mile from the San Marco Bridge. It is about a 20 min. walk on the beach to the pier and the town shops at the foot of the bridge. The home is set back from the busy street so you never feel like you are right on the road. The third room has its own entrance and bathroom. It is so comfortable and easy to live in. The owners could not have been more hospitable and helpful. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful, well loved, home. We will be back. Warning: This home is for the TRUE BEACH LOVER. It’s not for the tile floor, granite loving perfectionist.
