This is a quiet mid-size development (89 units only, which ensures tranquility in the common areas), professionally managed, with mostly US and Canadian owners, in approximately 3 acres of land. A two minute or 300 feet walk to the beach; with sea views from the condo terrace.
Walk for 5 minutes and find yourself strolling in the new Marina La Cruz, which has a nice 2nd floor restaurant with marina and ocean views (ideal for those who enjoy breakfasts with lots of local fruits) and a nice bar in the roof area for the evenings.
La Cruz de Huanacaxtle offers the one–of-a-kind charm characteristic of the mix traditional México and tourism. About 20 minutes North of Puerto Vallarta’s International Airport, La Cruz is a fishing village and favorite anchorage for visiting sailors.
In a few years, La Cruz is posed to become an addition to Puerto Vallarta, as what Playa del Carmen became to Cancun.
La Cruz takes its name from a Huanacaxtle tree that was in the form of a cross (“cruz” in Spanish) at the entrance to the town. This colorful Mexican town has stone or sand streets, small shops, and access to close beautiful beaches, such as Nuevo Vallarta, Destiladeras or Punta Mita. Just a few of the recreational activities available in La Cruz include snorkeling, scuba diving, surfing, fishing or sailing. Is an excelent place to hike the 10 mile sandy beach or to jog or seriously train in long distance runs.
Close to Puerto Vallarta, Nuevo Vallarta, Bucerias, Punta Mita, Sayulita, and San Francisco towns, centrally located to explore all these sites. Bring your car if you intend to stay for long term rentals, or with the savings from staying at this condo, rent one if you stay a week or two, to explore all these areas; or simply use affordable transport (buses about $0.90 US and taxis to and from Bucerias about $10 US; however, grocery stores, quick marts, fisheries and local restaurants are about 5 to 10 minute walks from the condo. Do the shopping once in the local Wal- Mart (about 20 minutes by taxi) and simply forget about needing something else the rest of the vacation.
The building is walled and has 24/7 security. The area is very secure as is an ex-pat colony full of US, Canadian and some European residents, working and residing full time, or simply passing a few months per year at their second homes. The beach is calm in the close area to the condo, as it is behind the marina breakwater, but there are close surf and kite surfing beaches also.
This place is ideal if you look for a quiet and relaxing weekly vacation or a long term rental, far from city noises but close to all tourist activities.
