Hi Carmen, let me say I thoroughly enjoyed my stay the week of 4/16/12. Everything was satisfactory. The location couldn't have been better! We parked our car and walked our way around town. Just a few steps to the beach, dinners out or people watching! Check out La Sandwicherie or Espanola Way! Though we were in the middle of everything it didn't feel like it - and that's what I appreciated most. Clean, comfortable and everything you need for a relaxing stay. I'd recommend Carmen and her family to anyone looking for a great hassle-free escape in the middle of South Beach.

A Great Condo

I stayed at this place with my travel buddy. I was one of two people. His name is on all the paper work. I was just listed as guest. But the place was great. Especially the off street parking. Easy to walk aound that area. It was a good location for the week in MIAMI. Thank you Carmen fror a great place to stay. My only complaint is our shower was not warm enough for us northerners. ( Well for me anyway) Oh the WIFI was great as well.

It's a shame your showers weren't hot enough, as we have powerful Titan water heaters. Yours was probably set to a "Medium" setting, because that's usually a comfortable level for a hot area such as Miami, but for the future, the setting can be put on "High". Hi Carmen, just wanted to say, thank you sooooo much! This place was the best! From the time of our arrival to the moment we left, we had all we needed.. The place was immaculately clean, 2 ample rooms with 4, very comfortable beds, fully equipped with everything and finally, LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! could not be beat. Stayed in the unit shown online. During Miami music week for a fair price compared to all my other inquiries. The place looks as shown it's pretty comftable and roomy and has all the accomadations that a regular house has. We planned to use the kitchen but there were so many things down the street like subway, panera, dominos (delivers), pizza hut (delivers) and other little restaurants so close that we hardly use the stove. No one wants to really cook while on vacation anyways. There is also a washer and dryer. I didn't see a blow dryer and my room mate said the floor was a bit dusty but carmen said she was going to talk to her cleaning people. Overall would stay again and def recommend it. It's walking distant a mile or less from ocean drive and the beach and lincoln way stores/mall. Thanks!

What a wonderful condo! My friends and I actually rented two of the spaces last week and absolutely LOVED it! I myself love to walk so the location was perfect. After long days of shopping, eating, enjoying the beach, it's the perfect place to go back to and relax. So clean and very comfortable! This will definitely be my place of choice for my next visits to Miami! I only PRAY it's available EVERYTIME :) Oh and the owner....FABULOUS! We called to inform her of something and she gave us a run down of some events that were taking place that evening. Love her for that <3

We stayed for 6 days & absolutely loved this condo. My friends & I had a awesome time. It's very spacey & clean. My only suggestion is if you plan on spending a lot of time at the beach or near Ocean drive Rent a car. The walking back & forth will wear you out.. Carmen is the best, she was very helpful.. I will definitely stay again :-)

It's rated one of top "walking places" in the US with a 97% walking score, particularly in the popular South Beach area, where we are located. It also boasts an excellent means of public transportation: from the easy access and air conditioned South Beach shuttle bus (cheapest way to get around locally at just $.25!), to the shared bike rental program with bike stations located in every other block (Please Google: Deco Bikes for information). Taxis are also abundant and inexpensive. For Guests staying longer periods, renting a car is a great idea since it gives them the freedom to do great one day excursions to the Everglades, the Florida Keys or explore other hip Miami areas such as the Design District and Downtown Miami. We are one of the very limited places in South Beach offering FREE private parking to our guests (a huge amenity in this popular destination). To whomever is reading this review, To be honest with you I really wanted to write a nasty and horrible review of this place. Not because this place is a bad place; it's a great place! I was going to write a bad review so I can hide this place for my future needs. It is such a great place on South Beach that I don't want to need this place again and it's booked. I wanted to be selfish and hide this place as my own exclusive hideaway but my morals took over and now I'm writing the truth. I have no doubt that if you stay at this place that you will fall in love with it. Its a 15 minute walk to the beach and that's if you're enjoying the view or 4-5 minute cab ride to the beach. It's on South Beach but not in one of those places where you can't sleep at night because of the constant partying. Both bedrooms are big enough for whatever you have planned. This place can easily sleep six with no issues and if you don't mind a couch then 2 more can get in there...if owner will allow you. We were only a party of 3 so it was luxurious to our needs. It looks exactly like the picture is showing; there is no alteration on the picture. I have no complaints about this place at all, in fact, I've told all my military friends and family members about it. I had to share because I hate going somewhere and not able to find a place that suits my needs. Trust me, this place is PERFECT!

Now that I'm back to reality I wanted to thank Carmen for the amazing accommodations. Her guest house was spotless and very comfortably located in the heart of South Beach. As a Miami resident knowing that there is such a great place I can call home for a bit makes me want to take more "stay-cations" and get the benefits of taking time-off from work more often. How I came to find this place was interesting. After a year of planning and preparing for friends stay with me at my apartment the unexpected happens. My condo association plans to tent our building the same week my friends will be in town before we continue to travel together. So in a panic I searched for central places and when I found this one I thought it would be ok. But once I started to deal with Carmen and finally we arrived to our place for the week it was AMAZING! My Australian friends were also overwhelmed with the great location. Most of all we were all very happy with the keyless system and fact we were able to each come & go on our own schedules without worrying about keys and possibly losing them on the beach. Some bonus things that I didn’t realize were included when I first booked but was great to find out: There is a washer & dryer on the property which makes it great for long travels or even just to wash before going home; there is WiFi in the unit and parking is included but it’s not street parking. The parking is a BIG PLUS on South Beach if you plan to have a car while you stay. Besides the fact that you have an assigned spot, it’s not a street spot which are problematic on SoBe. When we first arrived to the building and were looking to park to unload our bags we thought it was the 4 street spots found in the front of the building but later realized that it was in the small building-side parking lot easily accessible from West Avenue. It was the well manicured trees and foliage that make it beautiful and more private exactly made us miss the lot from the outside when we drove by. If you don’t know it’s there you miss the entrance. If I could change one thing, it would be that it accepted pets. It’s the only drawback for a pet owner like me. I think if pets were allowed I’d live there on the weekends. =) I look forward to staying here again soon over the summer and for many more stay-cations.

Overall I´m more than satisfied with my rental. The appartment was exactly as seen in the photos (the living room was even bigger than it looks) and it was spotless clean when we arrived. We went directly to a Publix nearby without noticing that we had already coffee, sugar, salt and pepper and cold water in the fridge! Carmen is always ready to answer any questions you might have and offers very professional service. The location is superb, although West Av. is a little noisy if you like to sleep late! Definitely worth every penny!!!!

Wonderful place in Miami Beach

We stayed in the condo January 11-16 2011 and enjoyed our time. The condo was exactly as described and the owner, Carmen, was easy to reach when we had a minor issue with the door. Pros: location is great, with easy access to restaurants and shops, especially the Lincoln Rd. mall. Building is quiet, for the most part. Hardwood floors throughout, that are very well maintained. Off street parking was a great asset, as we decided to get a car for a few days. The full kitchen was a nice asset for a quick breakfast and soup when I was ill. Easy access to bridge to Miami. Very secure building. Neighborhood was fine to walk through at night without any issue for 2 women. Quick ride to airport approx. 15 min. Multiple car rental agencies in the neighborhood to avoid high prices at airport. Cons: Hardwood floors meant our loud upstairs neighbors woke us up each morning @ 6:30 am with the morning preparations, chair scrapes on the floor, kids running around. Very long walk to the beach. Catch the Sobe local shuttle on West St. for .25cents each way as an alternative. Would stay here again. Wonderful communication with the owner and no problems with the condo.

It is a great, picturesque city, that is pedestrian friendly and easy to navigate. Miami Beach is an island surrounded by water - We are 2 blocks from the bay and 10 blocks from the ocean. It is a lovely walk to the Ocean, specially if you go thru Lincoln Rd or thru Espanola Way, but we always recommend that if you will be taking coolers, beach chairs etc, that you take advantage of the South Beach shuttle bus, which stops right in front of our building, and takes you all over the island for just $.25. great place

Everything was like described from the owner and as shown on the pictures! Very nice furniture, nice location in gerneral. The only little problem we had, was that it was kind of cool in Miami in the first week of December and we needed to turn on the heaters. Which was only possible in the master bedroom, because the smoke detectors always went on when we turned on the heaters in the dining area and in the second bedroom. We've told the owner and it was told they are going to take care of it. It was a faboulus apartment. We (4 girls, age 27-32) felt comfortable and home from the start! It was clean and just a tasteful ambiance. Ther were a lot of restaurants and shops close by (like described as well) and our favourite spot became "giardino gourmet salad". It's a nice salad bar just around the corner on Alton Rd. I would always rent the apartment again and also recommend to friends or family!
