We had wonderful time at this property! It was used for a group golf and casino weekend. The owner was very easy to work with. The property has many things for large groups to do. It would be perfect for large families and similar group types.

My group really enjoyed their stay in this property. It is very close to Rew Wing down town. The veiw from kitchen and deck is really beautiful that we really enjoyed our morning coffe there. Ping pong and air hocky tables were great addition to kill some time if weather is not good.

We spend Dec. 30th and 31st at Eagle Haven to celebrate our family Christmas. We were a group of 23, ages 9 months to 70 and had a great time. This home is clean, well stocked with all the kitchen items and sleeping quarters. Since there was no snow, the kids went to Red Wing to the YMCA to swim one afternoon and some went to the casino to bowl and another group had a very nice walk down to the water. Santa even made his appearance on Saturday night. We hade a wonderful time and it was not a far drive for most of the group. I certainly would recommend this home to groups needing space to spread out.

Three families met for a weeks vacation. Listing description was totally accurate. Owner was great to work with - willingly answered all questions. Location & privacy was great. Close to activities and the Pool was the highhlight of our lazy days when we did nothing. House very comfortable with everything we needed. We would highly recommend to others and would consider staying again in the future. Thanks so much.

Our family of 14 had a wonderful week of vacation at this place. The location was important so families with the youngest children didn't have to drive so far from the Twin Cities and they could come and go as needed. The property was just like the photos or even better. Everything was clean and in excellent condition. The owner was very helpful and easy to deal with. We could not believe how well supplied the place was with extra utensils, tables, chairs, pillows, blankets, DVDs, games, and spaces to relax. The older kids loved climbing the nearby bluffs, Geo tracking, visiting Red Wing's park and going to "Pizza on the Farm" out side of Stockholm. But, mostly we enjoyed staying at the home with all the ammenities it offered, inside and out. We have rented many properties and this was one of the best we have stayed at.

There were nothing but women on this annual trip. We only stay in rental houses when we go on tirps and by far this one was the most spacious and most accomidating. Everything was there to supply all your needs, as if we were home. If you want a retreat, it is a nice place to come and stay. Thanks for the use of your home.

An enjoyable place to stay. Owner is easy to work and communicate with. Place is beautiful and has all the amenities you need, plus extras. Lots and lots of sleeping space. Beds are comfortable. If we get the chance, we will stay again.

The facility is spacious and inviting. The kitchen is large enough for several cooks at once. Great place for family reunion or retreat.

Our extended family of adults and kids and grandkids has stayed at this vacation home a number of times, and we have had an excellent experience on each occasion. The house itself is lovely, spacious, and well-equipped, and the setting and the location in the Red Wing area are also excellent for a family gathering. We have had no negative experience of any kind, and have very much appreciated the excellent communication with the owner.

worked very well for our annual guy golf trip---nice location and the house offered many "extras" that unfortunately we did not take advantage of---would definitely consider it for a family vacation or future trip to the Red Wing area

Our group of 10 enjoyed staying at the property very much. The kitchen and dining area were great. I think the only complaint was the TV in the basement was not hooked up to receive a baseball game all the guys wanted to watch. Very pretty area, and nice location for touring the area.

We had a wonderful time in the Red Wing area, the house was perfect for a large group and Ken was wonderful to work with. We would definetly reccommend this home to friends. The pictures really do not do justice to just how nice and spacious this rental is.

I rented the home with a group of friends as an informal college reunion spot in July of 2010 and we had a wonderful time. The year prior we had rented a home that was smaller and without amenities on-site, so we greatly enjoyed the pool (though it was a bit small), yard space for games, and more. We comfortably slept 23 between beds and couches, but would have appreciated a larger table for group dining - instead we enjoyed most meals outside in perfect weather we were lucky to have. The private location of the home was great for our large (and somewhat noisy) group, but it meant travel into town to pick up groceries. Bring a group of friends and family and come prepared for a great secluded vacation spot.

We pulled our family together from around the country for a reunion at Eagle Haven, and we had a wonderful time. Our initial concern with the house was that there would not be enough private sleeping rooms, but the owner has created additional sleeping opportunities in numerous places throughout the house. The kitchen and the house in general were extremely well stocked with all the necessary items. The Red Wing area is full of recreation, shopping and sightseeing opportunities. We went canoeing on the Cannon River Water Trail (http://www.dnr.state.mn.us/watertrails/cannonriver/index.html) and biking on the Cannon Valley Trail (http://www.cannonvalleytrail.com/). We went boating on the Mississippi River and Lake Pepin. We went to Historic Old Frontenac for a tour of an old town that is being renovated. We went hiking at Frontenac State Park (http://www.dnr.state.mn.us/state_parks/frontenac/index.html). We went horseback riding outside of Lake City. We went antique shopping in Red Wing and Zumbrota. And we enjoyed young cousin time at the pool at Eagle Haven, along with great family fiestas!

Marvelous solitude high on Mississippi banks with a short journey across the river to Red Wing MN and all the local artist gift shops. Excellent bike riding from the property on quiet country back roads flat easy rides or challenging hill climbs. Great mattresses in all bedrooms. Fun fire pit and huge BBQ grill. Property was clean and well stocked with plenty of essentials- TP, paper towels. Lots of games and activities on site for kids. Great big deck for dining or cards. Lot of utensils for cooking for a large group, so we dined in.

We came to Wisconsin for my sons wedding. We and other family members and friends came in from California. Staying here was comfortable and roomy. The gounds are beautiful and well maintained. The owner was nice and easy to work with. The house was well insulated so if some stayed up late or some slept in their rest was not disturbed. This was so much better than getting hotel rooms. Even though you could feel like you were away from it all, access to main roads and highways were close by. We would definitely recommend this place to other!

We had a group of about 12-13 young adults up in May 2010 and had the absolute BEST time. The home had everything we needed and more -- numerous comfortable sleeping accommodations, great living space, wonderful kitchen, and fabulous outdoor area for games. We literally could not have asked for a more perfect place to spend a couple days, and will definitely return.

We used this house for a large family gathering to celebrate the 90th birthday of the family matriarch. It gave us a large spaces for both eating together and gathering informally. There was plenty of sleeping space for the 24 people in our group. We were there in the winter and created our own cross country ski trail and sledding area. Great view overlooking the river.
