Beautiful, secluded point at end of private drive situated on 1 1/2 wooded acres. 350 foot frontage with private sandy beach (water levels high this year so beach is covered with 4" of water) on Half Moon Lake. Best spot on the lake!
1920's originally built "Old Wisconsin" cottage. Completely updated inside. Sleeps 6 comfortably. 1,000 square feet. Fully furnished. 2 Bedroom (each with full size bed). 1 full bath with walk in shower. Sleeper sofa in finished porch. Forced Air Heat. Wood burning fireplace. Carpeted floors in bedrooms. Laminate wood floors & ceramic tile throughout living areas. All rooms have ceiling fans and a great breeze off the lake. Incoming phone line with answering machine. Wi-Fi available in the area.
Outdoor shower, Fire pit with chairs. Patio table & chairs along with 2 kayaks,1 canoe & 1 row boat included. Small watercraft & fishing boats permitted. Public boat launch on the lake.

There are many good supper clubs within a 5 mile drive in the area. One is ranked #1 in the Northwood's and is located just across our bay on Half Moon Lake, The Silver Birch. Inshalla Country Club is within walking distance and right across the street. The Bearskin 18 mile hiking/biking Trail is minutes away.
Town of Tomahawk is only 3 miles away. Hospital, Movie Theatre, Bait Shops, Bowling Alley, 2 Supermarkets & Hardware Store. We even have a Dairy Queen, Dog N Suds & Ben Franklin too! Downtown has many specialty stores ... Cheese Shop, Book Store, Butcher Shop, Antique Stores, Jewelry Store & Home Good stores.

We had a wonderfully relaxing week on Half Moon Lake. The cabin is just as described -- very well maintained, clean, and well stocked. The lake was pretty shallow but people told us that the water table was down about 30 inches so maybe it is deeper in other years. It was so nice to be in the woods where it was very quiet and be able to look out over the water to see eagles, loons, and other wild life. We would return in a heart beat. Thanks so much.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, pet owners, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.

Thanks Kevin and Tracey for allowing our family (dogs included!) to relax at your cottage for a week! We had a great time on the water with the canoes, kayaks and row boats. The bald eagles didn't even seem to mind that we were eavesdropping on them daily! The kids and dogs loved the water... perfect for our kids at 5 and 3-1/2 years old! The cottage itself exceeded what we were looking for as well. It was beautifully updated to feel both like a home and a getaway. The thing we loved the most however, was simply the peace and quiet!

Thank you Kevin and Tracey! We had a super time. The cottage is beautiful, all the comforts of home. We especially loved all the windows. Nice breeze. The fishing was good. Always biting. We enjoyed the privacy your place offers. Close to town, yet so serene. Couldn't have asked for a better vacation. Already looking forward to our next visit.
