My wife and I took a weekend away from "life" and couldn't have picked a better and more relaxing environment. The setting was tremendous aided by 8 inches of snowfall during our stay in this winter wonderland. Woodworking in the cabin was amazing and was very comfortable. If we are in Door County again this place will be #1 on our list to stay.

My family of 4, and another family of 4, all stayed at Hidden Bear for President's Day weekend. It was also our son's 13th birthday! We all had a great time at your beautiful cabin! This is our second stay at Hidden Bear, and in certainly won't be our last! Hidden Bear is a great place to stay; amazing cabin, great location, very quiet and relaxing, very comfortable beds, and lots of land for the kids to go exploring! Can't wait until we can return again! Thanks!

My wife and I were looking for a nice cozy place to relax and unwind and this was the perfect spot! The cabin is not hard to find but was so tucked away that we felt like we were alone in Door County. While we did make use of many fun things to do in Egg Harbor and surrounding areas, we found ourselves mostly hanging out in the cabin and relaxing. Thanks so much for an awesome stay. We are already thinking of when we can go back and have been recommending it to others. Oh, I almost forgot, it took me until our last day there, but I finally found the "hidden Mickey"!

We had a wonderful time at the cabin, it was perfect for a weekend getaway. The accommodations are first class, a beautiful home in a beautiful part of the state. I am sure it won't be our only time staying here!

what a fantastic place for a vacation

Well, upon arrival at Hidden Bear ( directions got us right to the front door) if took almost a half an hour to stop oooing and ahhing........the accomodations were fit for a king.............we had been staying at a cabin in Tomah for our vaction for the last 4 years, which was the same price as hidden bear, and there was absolutely no comparison......clean, ammeneties up the wazoo.......the only thing we were missing was the fire brick lined pizza oven.......seems like the owners thought about everything else.......we would not hesitate to stay again, and again, and again.......weather was kind of lousy for 4 of our six days, and it did not make one bit of difference...........saw turkeys, deer, and a red squirrel came by every morning that we named "squirrely" the last night of our stay, was the night of the huge storm, that closed Penninsula state Park for a week, and other than the lights flickering once ( yes there were plenty of emergency lanterns in the hall closet) and the satilitte tv going out for five minutes, we slept great and didnt worry at all......... The photos are good, but you have to see it to believe it.....and the attractions of door county almost came in second to our stay in the cabin.....needless to say, we will be back next year.......thanks for opening your "home" to us........

Excellent honeymoon retreat!!

My husband and I just stayed at this magnificent place for our honeymoon! We couldn't have asked for a better place!! We were both absolutely content with just sitting on the front porch and listening to the wind! Everyone we showed this wonderful cabin to were instantly jealous! They have already agreed that when they go back to Door County this is the place they will stay! Us as well! We cannot wait to get back to this haven! We loved discovering all the little things about this place. Even the scavenger hunt, although we didn't find "mickey." Just another great reason for us to return! We cannot thank the owner's enough for putting so much love into this cabin! We felt right at home as soon as we entered the front door! Everything was perfect!!!

Truly exceeded all our expectations! A wonderful & scenic setting; so private yet so accessible to everything there is to do in Door County; very cozy & comfortable; all the amenities of home! This cabin was perfect for a week of winter togetherness for my husband and me. The descriptions and pictures are accurate, but the reality is even better -- very clean, a wealth of intriguing details throughout the cabin, and a location that's secluded but has easy access to main roads and the rest of DC. We saw deer and wild turkeys while we were eating breakfast in the cabin. The kitchen is well-equipped but there are several eating places near by if you don't feel like cooking. I've never had a gas fireplace and didn't expect to like it, but I have to admit that I loved the convenience of having the beauty and warmth of a fire with the twist of a knob. Will look forward to going back!

This has got to be one of the best places that we have stayed in along time. There was such attention to detail in every way. We did not want for anything! Would definately recommend and stay again if it becomes available. Enjoyed the game of find and seek. Thanks to making our trip even better.

You will not believe the attention to detail that went into this house! We have stayed in many rental cabins throughout Door County, but this one actually feels like a home. Beautiful details including a newel post carved into the shape of a bear's head, a bear's face carved into one of the porch pillars, and a frog built in to the rocks in the downstairs bathroom, just to name a few. So much detail that we kept finding new things to look at. It is obvious that this cabin that it was built, decorated and furnished with much thought and love. It is absolutely gorgeous, has many amenities, and is conveniently located. The wooded lot provides a feeling of privacy. There were plenty of extra pillows and blankets. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Hidden Bear Cabin was wonderful! Everything you could want from a log cabin vacation. So many nice touches, they made staying here so comfortable. Dishwasher, two bathrooms, washer and dryer were so nice to have. Had several fires in fire pit outside. Drank our morning coffee on the picnic table in the back. All together a great vacation!

This place is truly a get a way from the business of life! We were there 1 week in February with our kids and it was an amazing time to capture every moment together. You cannot beat a log cabin in the snow! There is a lot to do in the nearby towns, including shopping, eating, sledding and ice fishing. But it was really hard to pull ourselves away from all there was to do at the cabin as well. These accomodations for this price is unbelievable!

This was 1st class all the way! There were activities on the property for ages from 5-85! If you need a quiet, romantic get away...this is it! Shopping, restaurants, and other sight-seeing were just minutes away.

A beautiful place in a beautiful setting. Lots of attention to details. Close to Egg Harbor, but still very private. Would recommend this place to anyone. Is a nice as the pictures.
