.This newly constructed 2,500 square foot log home overlooks the 13th fairway of Mount Mitchell Golf Course. One of the nicest Golf and Country Clubs in our area rated 4 1/2 stars by Golf Digest and consistently ranked in the top ten courses in North Carolina.
The house offers you mountain views from either of the 2 large decks along with privacy, fresh mountain air and relaxing sounds of South Toe River. Or for the active person you might try your hand at fly fishing. Take a bike ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway just 2 miles away. Go tubing at the Carolina Hemlocks Park. Hike to see nearby waterfalls, including Roaring Fork, Setrock Creek and Crabtree Meadows. Or climb the observation tower at Mount Mitchell, the highest point east f the Mississippi River at 6,684 feet.
This 3 level home is very private. Finished in Knotty Pine and equipped with a gas log fireplace, ceiling fans and central air.
This home also has its own extra large capacity washer and a game room with a pool table, dart board, wet bar, fridge and access to the lower deck. 4 night minimum. Call for last minuts deals. April $600 a week. May $650 a week

Wonderfull Fully Equiped Rustic Home to get Away From it All

This is a great place to stay for a family/group as we did for a long Thanksgiving. It has everything you would want or need to make for a perfect visit. It is larger than it looks and sleeps 6 very comfortably. Everyone loved staying here! if there is a downsideit is is the very steep but manageable driveway.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.
