First off I would like to say Thank you that you gave us the condo for our use even though it was for a short time period. I know you made an exception for us and that was greatly appreciated. What can I say about your place? Everyhting was as advertised!! Beautiful place, nice location, clean building, amazingly decorated condo, digital cable it had it all. My friends and I had an absolutely amazing time there. It definitely felt like home. The welcome touch with the food and the nice neccessites such as eggs, bread and milk were also appreciated by our party. I would definitely reccommend your place anytime to anyone I know coming to Dubai to visit. I wish you all the best and I hope to do business with you again.

Here is my English comment, translation ) Dear Karen and Karen's guests! We had a really pleasure in staying in your gorgeous apartment, with all nesseccary details for comfort and "homelike" living. The "first breakfast" set was really good and refreshing, thank you Karen for this! Further, we cooked by ourselves without any problems. We were alone with husband, but in this spacious apartment , a big family with children can also live easily. There is enough entertainment for kids like games, dvd's, books, sony play station. Beautiful views are opening from the balcony's. The coolest thing is a roof top pool with warm water and breathtaking view over the city and shore! "We had a wonderful vacation in Dubai and Karen's apartment was gorgeous. Beautiful apartment and the swimming area was also great.It was so great to have "homeaway home" with little children. Never go to hotel anymore! Everything was great and Karen was so nice and helpful! :) I recommend this apartment to everybody. Especially fo families! A GREAT LOCATION.Karen, thankyou very much for letting us share your wonderful apartment it really is a home from home.The apartment is modern with every appliance you could wish for. The welcome pack we received on arrival was really appreciated and contained everything you needed until you was able to get to the supermarket.A lot of thought had gone into its contents. The apartment is walking distance too the metro and its due to open in jan 09 , but this was not a problem we used to get a taxi to the Mall of the Emirates and then catch the metro into the old town. A good tip would be to buy a card at the metro station which costs 20 dirhams and can be topped up at any time and lasts 5yrs,this can be used on the metro or the buses. On a evening we used to get a taxi costing £2 to the Marriott hotel in Dubai marina and go to the Observatory on the 52nd floor, fantastic views looking towards the Atlantis Hotel.This hotel has a happy hour 6pm to 8pm drinks are half price and you get nibbles which was a nice touch. On returning from the Marriott we used to sit out on the balcony which had fantastic views of the city and Emirates golf course. Anybody going to Dubai should consider buying a book called "the Dubai Entertainer" (i got mine on Ebay) it contains vouchers for buy one get one free on hundreds of restaurants,theme /water parks,golf,leisure and pleasure. Waitrose supermarket is in Dubai marina and also in the Mall of the Emirates is a carefeour supermarket selling everything you could possibly want ,and it is cheaper. I would highly recommend a visit to Dubai and would definitely say make sure you first find out if Karens apartment is available because you would not be disappointed.Thanks Karen

KarenThank you so much for sharing your apartment in Dubai with us. We were there for my sister-in law's 40th wedding anniversary and it was wonderful. The apartment is modern and clean and has everything you require for a really comfortable stay. The roof pool and sun terrace is stunning with wonderful views of Dubai and the gym and steam room are excellent. We were only there for 8 days but by day one I felt as if I had been there a fortnight. Karen is wonderful and phoned to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. Great views of the golf course from the lounge windows and the Emirates Golf Club is a great place to go for a meal (and drink) and only the equivalent of £3.00 each way in one of the many taxis that are really cheap and freely available in Dubai. Don't agree with previous reviews on phoning for a taxi though, we found the best way to get a cab was to walk to the bottom of the street, about 200 metres, and hail one, there are plenty. The apartment location is also situated within walking distance to one of the new Metro stations, so it will be even easier to get around once the Metro is fully operational. Everything in Dubai is built to a high specification and clean, the shopping malls are wonderful with one being bigger and better than the other, but Karen's apartment is truly THE oasis in the desert.Thanks again KarenVery best regardsJim

Dear Karen, Thank you so much for the lovely service and administration you gave me while booking this lovely appartment. My family and I had a great time and really felt at home with luxurious surroundings. You have really thought of everything that one would need whilst on holiday. kitchen amenities were excellent the washing machine and dryer were easy to you. television and satellite and the playstaion really were a treat for my son and husband. The 2 bedrooms were so tastefully made up and very relaxing. A guest bed was also available for my son which was comfortable. The roof top pool was excellent and the views very spectacular. Even the steam room and sauna were my ultimate treat. The shower and gym were of high standard. Even the bathrooms inside the apartment were very beautiful. The views from the bedrooms and living room were breathtaking. I shall definitely book this appartment again. The location is fantastic. Jumeirah is a great location and the beach is close by and the love Dubai marina mall was at hand. Driving in dubai was not a problem except you have to keep your eye on the posted signs. After a few days you get used to the roads and motor-ways. I could write so much more!!! Thank you Karen for your time and effort in insuring every detail was taking care of. Right down to the directions to the apartment!!!!

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Karen’s apartment , which is centrally located of the Sheikh Zayed’s Road. The accommodation was luxurious with all the comfort of your own home. This review is a bit late as I stayed there with my family in Aug '09, but the apartment exceeded our expectations. Karen's management staff was reliable and prompt as we had a problem with the tv that was fixed by the morning. Overall a wonderful experience. And I loved the decor! The stroller and beach toys in the closet were a plus as I was travelling with a 3 year old!

Recommended for:Families with young children, sightseeing.

Hello Karen To start with, I would like to thank you for everything. Your prompt responses to my inquiries are appreciated. I do visit Dubai around 3 to 4 times a year and from now on this apartment will be my home in Dubai. This is a 5 star apartment. Everything is just perfect, the layout, the spacious living room, the decoration, the hygiene, and the facilities. The location is superb, at the heart of new Dubai, near to all attractions, beaches, and shopping malls. The kids enjoyed playing in the x-box. Hello Karen,tout d'abord milles merci pour ce séjour inoubliable dans ton appartement à Dubai.Superbe localisation, à 2 pas de la sheik Zayed road (autoroute qui dessert tout Dubaï), à proximité de la plage et de la trés célèbre palm jumeirah (visible depuis les 2 chambres de l'appartement) et à proximité des centres commerciaux marina mall et le célèbre emirates mall et ces fameuses pistes de ski.Le contact par téléphone et mail est super. We had high expectations and reality was affirmative. For a nice and relaxing holliday this is a great place, we felt us immediatly at home; the interior is decorated with a wellknowed design-hand. The kitchen is an open and inviting place, the two bathrooms are more than spacefull and well equiped, the bedrooms too. For children it is a dream due to a topquality swimming-pool on the top roof where the view is amazing !!!!!!! If you want to shop untill you drop......no problem, shopping area around the corner, food in no time and mall's just 1 minute drive. Parking place under the building, great !!!!!! We're sad to be at the end.....and take the sun with us in our suitcases, ;-)))))) Fam Van Molecot- Belgium We hadden hoge verwachtingen maar de werkelijkheid was bevredigend. Binnenkomend in een zeer mooi en met smaak ingericht design-appartement kregen we onmiddelijk een huiselijk vakantiegevoel. De keuken is open en zeer uitnodigend..... De twee badkamers zijn ruim en super uitgerust alsook de slaapkamers; voor de kinderen een paradijs mede door het leuke grote zwembad op het dakverdiep met prachtig uitzicht, shoppingmogelijkheden op superkorte afstand zowel voor voeding als de welbekende Mall's. Met spijt in ons hart komen we aan het einde van onze vakantie en gaan proberen de zon mee in onze valies te proppen.....;-)))) Een aanrader voor iedereen die een fijne en toch thuisgevoelgevende vakantie wenst !!!!!! I am a grandfather who was accompanied by my 3 grandchildren, who stayed at Karen's apartment. We have to say that the apartment was absolutely wonderful, and far out-weighed our perception of what we expected. The furniture, kitchen & dining areas were very tastefully chosen,and the ornaments and pictures complimented the large lounge. The beds were the very best we have slept on, and I would recommend a very loud alarm clock tp get you up in the morning - they were so comfortable!! Overall, I have no hesitation in recommending a stay at this apartment, and a wonderful way of visiting Dubai.

This was the first time for us staying in an apartment as opposed to a hotel. And it was fantastic, Karen was so easy to work with, and the location was spot on, only minutes away from the beaches, and restaurants. Taxis were really cheap ,and the convenience of having a telephone in the apartment to let you know the taxi had arrived was just great. The kids loved the pool and was so surreal being on the rooftop.!!We would book with karen again as the attention to detail was fantastic, even the tea coffee sugar and milk on our arrival was well welcomed.We would recommend this apartment to anyone. Hi karen,Thank you for helping to make ourholiday the best ever. Your communication from beginning to the end was superb and appreciated. Thank you for arranging the pick-up from the airport and the welcoming phone call…very thoughtful. We also liked how easy it was to make a call from the apartment to arrange for a taxi and to find it outside the apartment block in readiness. Didn’t have to wait outside because we were notified it was there whilst enjoying the comforts of your magnificent apartment….nice touch Karen! And what an apartment it was……truly awesome. It was breathtaking…everything you could possibly need was provided for you and the fixture and fittings were truthfully first-class. The photos don’t do it justice. You have wonderful taste as I knew you would. Every time we arrive back at the apartment we felt like we stepping into another world…it was awe-inspiring The apartment building was only 5 minutes from the Dubai Marina Mall , and Jumeriah Public Beach. Its facilities were great. The roof-top swimming pool which because it was on the 41st floor had views to die for. Karen we can’t wait to return…..Micheal and Doreen
