This 21st floor unit is in one of only a few brand new buildings located in the highly desirable El Cangrejo neighborhood. Just one block north of Via Espana and less than 1/4 of a block off Via Argentina to the east (Avenida 1A Norte), this unit offers all of the amenities in a neighborhood that contains just about everything within walking distance....5 star restaurants, nightclubs, bars, casinos, shops, supermarket, drugstores, banks & salons. The building is located almost directly across the street from the Prado Restaurant on Via Argentina, which is open 24 hours. A taxi can be found day or night on Via Espana.

The El Cangrejo neighborhood is located in the heart of Panama City. It is an extremely safe & highly desired tourist neighborhood as it contains just about any commodity one could want during their stay in Panama. Almost any activity is within walking distance. If you were to need a taxi, one can be acquired almost anywhere at any time of the day or night.

Cangrejo 507 is less than a quarter of a block off the vibrant Via Argentina (and one block away from busy Via Argentina), which has become a trendy 'Bohemian' style area. The unit is centrally and conveniently located: supermarket and grocery stores: 500 meters (1,640 feet); pharmacies: 100 meters (320 feet); Casino: 500 meters (1,640 feet); Banks & ATMs: almost everywhere within walking distance; Johns Hopkins affiliated medical hospital: one kilometer (0.6 miles); two of the biggest malls in town: 1 kilometer.

  • We just returned from our two week stay in this beautiful condo in Panama City. It could not have been in a better location. We were able to walk to just about anywhere we needed to be. Sometimes renting lodging from the internet can be a unnerving experience, because you are not really sure of what you are getting. In this case the condo was exactly as described. It was uniquely decorated and quite comfortable. The view from the balcony was commanding and we also spent a good deal of time at the pool on the roof (in between the rain showers). Although there were other condos that had lower prices on VRBO, we found that sometimes they are in older buildings with few amenities. We traveled with another couple that booked a condo in the same neighborhood and bragged about the lower price that they got. We were the ones laughing when we saw the dump that they had committed to for two weeks! All in all, we would definitely stay in the condo again as we plan another trip for early next year. The owner was very accomodating and corresponded with us right up until our departure to ensure that we knew where to go, who to meet on the other end, etc.
