Condo is beautiful! Best location in the Marina area! Amazing views! Very relaxing time with husband and 11 and 13 year old girls. Clean, well cared for, and exactly as promised. Can't wait to return in a few years as this area continues to grow. If you are looking for a beautiful beach and pool...this is it. But, don't expect a lot of action....go to the hotel zone for that. We had a car and glad we did. Enjoyed dinner at La Palapa, Blu Marlin, and all of the marina restaurants as well a a couple of places in Punta Cana Village....only 10 minutes away. Jill's recommendation of Mama Luisa's was greatly appreciated....at there twice. Speaking Spanish would be helpful! It's now on my bucket list. Jill was very helpful with area information. We didn't take advantage of any side trips this time around...but there were some available. Unfortunately our return flight included a 26 hour airport delay.....but that still can't erase the beautiful condo we enjoyed for the week!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

Beautiful, spacious, tastefully-decorated condo overlooking the beach and pools, with perfect landscaping everywhere. If you want peace and (very) quiet, this is the place for you. The pool is beautiful (cold in mid-March) and the beach is very pretty although not comfortable on bare feet (hard packed, not soft sand) and you can walk end to end in 5 minutes. The Cap Cana development is very large (about 25 minutes to drive end to end) and seems to be in spurts of development and was a bit like a ghost town. The marina area has 3 restaurants and a convenience store within a 3-minute walk. The concierge at Aquamarina was friendly and made dinner reservations for us. She did not have a list of the Cap Cana restaurants and their hours (some have closed) so we weren't sure what was available (it's so quiet, I would think they would want to promote these restaurants). I would recommend renting a car as Cap Cana is far from other areas. It's about a 15-minute drive to the airport and main grocery store (Nacional at Punta Cana Village). Although, if you want to just lay in the sun and relax, no car is needed.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children.

Let me start off by saying that we frequent Punta Cana often because we have family that live there. By far this has been the best vacation ever and stay as well. The condo is absolutely beautiful with spectacular ocean views. What you see in the pictures is exactly what you get. The property is clean, nicely decorated and very well equipped. There is lots to do around the property and beautiful beaches. The restaurants around the Marina walking distance were great and the food was delicious. Jill the owner could not have been nicer and a great help with suggestions and accomadations answering all our questions promptly and making sure we were well taken care off. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an amazing and relaxing vacation with family or just a getaway.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We went to DR to visit family with our 3 kids aged 7, 6 and 18, and to have our vow renewal with friends which we held on the condo's balcony with the great views! This place is just gorgeous, very thoughtfully furnished and equipped with everything you could possibly need on a family vacation. The condo exceeded our expectations and we were grateful for the attention to detail as the week prior we had stayed at a home in the Punta Cana Resort at Tortuga Bay where it was obvious that the owners had no interest in maintenance and the comfort for their guests. Jill was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end and we felt that our every need was excellently met by her and the Cap Cana staff. While restaurants here can be pricey due to the added taxes, we especially enjoyed the Italian restaurant onsite with the attached deli. The prices were reasonable, the food was delicious and the kids loved the pizza and gelato! We also loved the Caleton Beach Club that had chairs and beverage service on a beautiful quiet beach. I would recommend renting a car as Cap Cana is isolated and this makes it easier to go shopping, dining and exploring. If you are going to Punta Cana, this is truly the only place to stay!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Let me start out by saying that the condo is beautiful, very comfortable and the view of the marina is amazing. After spending 5 days at the Sol Melia tropical with 30 of our friends with a planned event every day, we were ready to spend some quality time together. This is definitely the place to do that. We had a great cook for a couple of the days that prepare traditional dominican meals but can probably do anything. The grounds are immaculate and when they finish all the projects it will truly be amazing. The one day that it rained we spent time in the condo enjoying the homey feel and the concierge area which is beautiful, comfortable and has wireless service. At least two of the days we were practically the only people on the beach. I cannot say enough about the staff that the Sage's have maintaining their condo.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

We stayed at this condo with our 1 year old son and friends who also had a 1 year old. The condo itself is immaculate and well appointed. They even had a pack n play for our little one to use. As we have very busy life back home, the relaxation was key. The beach and the pool area were one of the best I have ever seen (and I travel a lot). Jill was so accomidating and accessable prior to our trip. I think the only thing that was a bit of a challenge was finding food! There are some resturants on property but they were a bit limited for some meals (Breakfast for instance). This can be easily solved by ordering food to be delivered to your condo prior to your arrival! We would defiantely go back!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, romantic getaway.

My husband, two boys (age 15 and 11) and I stayed at the Sage condominium from Dec 25 to Jan 1 2011. The condo is amazingly luxurious -- it is spacious, clean, well appointed and is equivalent or even nicer than the five star hotels we've stayed at. (Really nice designer washrooms with stone floors, granite counters and basins) We especially loved the huge deck overlooking the marina -- it's the perfect place for a morning coffee or drinks -- or lounging about all day! The Cap Cana grounds are well manicured and sprawling. We rented one of those low speed electric vehicles (the boys fought over who would drive) for our entire stay to get around the grounds. We tried just about every restaurant in the Cap Cana Resort---our favourites were the restaurant at the Golden Bear Lodge, Wok at Secrets, the restaurant at Punta Espada Golf Course. There's also the restaurant at the Caleton which has a great al fresco atmosphere and the menu is fun. The good was an excellent quality--servings are huge! Restaurant prices are reasonable----New York/Las Vegas prices---cheaper than Nassau, Bahamas. Cap Cana is picturesque, just like the pictures. The concierge is very helpful. The nearby convenience store (5min walking distance) is very European and has everything from great wine (brunellos) to water and fresh bread. The pools while amazing to look at were not heated and hence we did not go swimming. The Marina pool has a hot tub which was great and we used that. The beaches are gorgeous and the water fairly warm--much warmer than the pools. We also joined the PowerFit Studio for the week --it had very modern treadmills, elliptical machines and weight machines. (At $100 for 7 workouts, it was a good deal). Our 11 year old wanted to go paint balling so we did that once at SeaScape II at Cap Cana---we shot targets and had a great time. The paint ball place also doubles as a petting zoo and the animals were very cute. (baby goat, bunnies etc) The owner of the Condo, Jill Sage was very helpful and reachable. She provided us with great advice and made sure the condo was set up perfectly for our stay. Internet access from the condo was first rate---also huge selection of DVDs) We recommend this condo to all our friends and family --- we plan to come back one day with our golf clubs. Thanks, Jill, for a great stay.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This was by far the most relaxing vacation. The Sage Villa was beautiful, comfortable with amazing views. The golf was excellent and challenging, even for low handicap players. We loved going to the marina, either for dinner or picking up goodies at the market then chilling on the massive patio at the villa while enjoying a cocktail. The new salon/spa is across the street and I had the best massages EVER!!! The beach was so beautiful and quiet. We usually choose to stay on the grounds but this time we rented a car the day before we left, it was delivered to the villa (brand new car). We went into town and had a delicious dinner as per owner's recommendation and I only wish we could've done this at the beginning of our too short 5 day vacation. We can't wait to go back.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

We wanted to try a real getaway this year; our vacation was in early August and there were so many places to choose from. But when we saw this ad, with the great price and gorgeous pix, we couldn't resist and called the owner. She was so sweet and gave us all the details we needed. We found paradise! Not only was the condo beautifully decorated and spacious but the views from it were breathtaking. After a morning of golf, we'd kick back by the pool, pick one of the restaurants to grab a bite, then watch the sunset on the pristine beach - all of which was practically at our fingertips! No question we will be back next year. Awesome.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Our vacation could not have been better, the facilities in Cap Cana are incredible, the beach is perfect and the apartment was excellent. The rental of your apartment was so much better than any of the hotel options. You truely have a wonderful property at the Marina in Cap Cana. My family is already talking about returning next year. Sadly we head out tomorrow. The condo is beautiful, much larger than we anticipated, especially liked the large patio. We had dinner out there several nights or started our evening out there with wine and cheese before we went out to eat. Cap cana is one of the most beautiful places we've ever been.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/2

Positives: Condo was perfect size and very clean. Marina is a tremendous setting and very clean as well. Golf at its finest. Our day at the Beach Club was our best. Restaurants were outstanding, those at the Marina and Sanctuary a bit pricy, but what the heck, your on vacation. Lots of security. All employees were friendly.Did you find this review helpful? We're all settled in, the condo is absolutely beautiful!! we love all the decorating and the cap cana grounds are unbelievable. We had an amazing time, thank you! I just got back the city last night and the sixty degree temperature drop is very depressing. We loved the condo, it was nice having our own space and being able to cook and eat on the deck, and to have a home base that wasn't a hotel room. It was awesome that you had DVDs and games; on the nights we stayed in we played a hundred rounds of Apples to Apples or watched movies. The marina is beautiful and we took tons of pictures, and I think the beach at the Marina was the nicest of all of the beaches. We went to Caleton and the Sanctuary hotel for a day each, but kept going back to the marina beach. We rented one of the golf carts, which ended up working out great since the shuttle took a while to come. One of the days we went to Scape 2 Cap Cana, my sister, brother, and dad did paintballing for the first time ever, which they loved. As far as activities in Punta Cana go, Scape 2 Cap Cana is pretty reasonably priced. My parents played Punta Espada twice, which sounds like an amazing course. We all agree that the condo was an amazing value, and we absolutely loved it.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/2
