Location: Lake Leelanau, Lake Leelanau, Northwest, Michigan, USA (Lake Leelanau)

Our cozy, lakefront, log cabin, is perfect for a family of four, just 50 feet, from beautiful Lake Leelanau. A 14-Foot, aluminum fishing boat, with ores, and life jackets, is provided.
We are located at the Southeast end, of the lake, at, 6919 E. Birch Point Rd. Traverse City MI 49684, only about 15 minutes, from the great restaurants, and, entertainment, in Traverse City.
The cottage is pine paneled, with a stone fireplace. Sleeping arrangements are, one bedroom with a double bed,(sleeps two), and, a glassed in, screened in porch, looking out on the lake, with two twin beds,(also sleeps two). A folding cot, is available, for a fifth person, or child, if needed. We have a full kitchen with all utensils provided. Cable TV, VCR, and DVD, for rainy days. We don't provide linens, so you will have to bring your own,( bed sheets, pillow cases, towels, washcloths, and kitchen towels.)
The swimming is excellent. The lake, in front, is shallow, and gradual, with a sand bottom. Fishing on the lake is great, with one of the "Hot Spots" right out in front, of the cottage. There are Walleye, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Perch, Northern Pike, Brown Trout, Rock Bass, and, you can catch minnows, for fishing, right off our dock. Be sure to bring a net! Out by the lake, there is a free flowing, artisan well, with a small pond, to keep your catch in, until dinner time.
We have a private dock, with a boat hoist, that will accommodate up to a 20' boat,(2600 lb. capacity). We also have a mooring buoy, if you have a larger boat. There are free launch ramps, only about 3 miles North, of us.
We have a small log "Boathouse" next to the cabin, with sand toys, for the kids, and, a place to store your fishing equipment. The children will enjoy the Swans, and ducks, that come daily, to our dock, for treats.
Only about 30 minutes away is the Sleeping Bear Dunes Park, on Lake Michigan, with a beautiful scenic drive, and, a fantastic Dune Climb.
