Islandtime is a lovely beach cottage offering all the amenities of home. A screened-in shaded back porch provides a quiet area for relaxing after a long day at the beach. The beach access is less than a minute's walk from the front porch. Emerald Isle is known as a family town with generally uncrowded beaches, miles of bike paths, ice cream shops and natural areas. The NC aquarium is only 6 miles from our home and is wonderful for all ages.
If you enjoy kayaking, there are two kayaks available for use. The sound is just across the street and a public access allows for launching for a day on the sound of fishing or picture taking.
For those who just can't get away, Islandtime has FREE wireless and wired internet connections along with free long distance. Each room has its own TV including a new 42" in the living area. Plug your iPod into the stereo and enjoy your own music collection. Our home is dog-friendly, up to 2, with no pet fee for 2011. Linens are not provided to keep the costs down, we recommend Island Essentials if you would like to rent linens.

Why the Owner Chose Emerald Isle
My husband grew up coming to Emerald Isle before the bridge was even built. He shared his passion for the small town and all its amenities. The best of both worlds, the sound and the beach are less than 2 minutes walk from each other in this ideal thin location on the island.

Within a short drive is the NC Aquarium, Fort Fisher, Swansboro, Bear Island State Park and Beaufort (a lovely boating town with neat shops).

Rob and I were married on the island in 2001, with our 4 children standing at our sides. We love the serenity and peacefulness of the beach. Our home is a reflection of that enjoyment! Simple, clean and inviting.

We stayed for New Years and had a wonderful time in this house. There was great space for playing games both inside and out and the beach access is a short and easy walk. The space under the house (ping pong, hammock, etc) is very well used and a great addition to this property. We hope to be able to come to this area again and stay here. Thanks Pam!

We were very pleased with this cottage. It was very clean and well equiped and we felt right at home from the moment we walked in. Loved sitting on the front porch and eating lunch or just relaxing with a book. Spent time every day on the beach with the dogs walking the waters edge, taking photos and just relaxing. Spent one afternoon in nearby Beaufort browsing the shops and the Maritime Museum but did not get back the next day for the raising of the cannon from Blackbeards ship. Would like to come back some year for the Pirate Event in Beaufort. Thank you for providing a great place to spend a relaxing week. Bill and Jane Ohio

My husband and I have now spent time at "Island Time" on (2) different occasions and we have already booked our vacation for 2012! All information provided was very accurate and the cottage was very clean and well kept opon our arrival. Pam and Rob are great and a pleasure to work with. The location is great; close to great restaurants and all shopping needs. If you are looking for a place to stay for a wonderful, restful time at the the beach, I highly recommend "Island Time"!! I can't wait to go back!!

We booked a 3-day weekend here at the last minute and without doing much research. The house was very clean, and extremely comfortable. The outdoor shower was popular with everyone as were the ping-pong table and front porch. Close enough to the beach with easy access. Owners were great to work with. Overall excellent experience, would consider again.

This rental is in a great location for a good price. We could walk easily to the beach, it is right near Ocean Drive which was great for biking, and we were able to put the kayaks in the sound just a block away. The house was clean and had a VERY well-equipped kitchen. The internet worked well. It was also really nice having a screened-in back porch and a nice front porch. The ping-pong table downstairs and the outdoor shower were also plusses. Would DEFINITELY stay here again!

This was our first time in Emerald Isle and the owners were very helpful answering our questions. We loved the beach equipment stored under the house along with the ping pong table. We also liked having the outside shower and hose since we brought our dog. The living room has an oversized table for playing games and a great TV for watching movies. The master bed was very comfortable. The kitchen had everthing we needed. We were close to the grocery store, shopping, movie theaters, mini golf, restruaunts and the water park. The beach was not crowed and easy to walk to. The location is great. We had a nice relaxing time:)

Our family really enjoyed the time at the cottage. The kitchen is very well-equiped. We loved the space downstairs with the ping pong tennis, the picnic table and the hammock.The screened porch provided a great atmosphere for our dinners. The cottage is really close to the beach. Kids loved the variety of swim equipment including the kayaks. The cottage is very welcoming - it was hard to leave.
