Enjoy a Stay in our Beach retreat that is centrally located on South Padre Island. Its location affords you easy access to grocery stores, the movie theater, shopping, restaurants, bars, 3 Flags-a small kids' entertainment place, Schlitterbahn-the water theme park, and most importantly...THE BEACH!
Our family get away features an upstairs living room with spanish saltillo tile, cool and calm colors, and a large leather sectional couch that over looks the balcony with views of the ocean. The living room opens up to the dining area and a granite counter kitchen with top of the line stainless steel appliances. The gourmet kitchen allows you to cook and bake an extraordinary meal to be enjoyed on the balcony with views of the beach or within the confines of the home. The second floor also features a beautiful Mediterranean Master Bedroom with plantation shutters, hues of golden yellows, greens, browns and a large ultra comfortable King Bed. The Master Bedroom also features a private balcony to enjoy views of the ocean or to watch the fireworks over the bay, a large walk-in closet, entertainment center holding a 40 inch televsion set, DVD player and drawers to store your beach wear. The master bathroom features granite counter tops, a large walk-in glass shower and nice vanity area.
The first floor features the guest suites, which are representative of our children, feature white plantation shutters, tropical hues,luxurious full size beds, walk-in closets and televsions sets with DVD players. Our daughter's bedroom fetures a patio that allows you to access the back yard for sun bathing or to read a book and have a margarita.
Lots of board and electronic games, cable TV, DVD Players, a stereo system to dock your ipod, and a barbeque grill. The first floor also has a landry room with a washer and dryer,a two-car garage full of wagons, beach chairs and umbrellas. So the only thing you have to do is meet the welcoming commitee, check in and enjoy your stay!

Why the Owner Chose Private Homes
This house is centrally located and within walking distance to good restuarants, especially Zeste Gourmet Market. We enjoy walking to Zeste, which has a "Hamptons" market feel, where you can buy a good bottle of wine and a nice gourment meal to enjoy on the premises or at home. Or, if your in the mood for appetizers, try the delicious hummus dip or one the other tasty appetizers. And the Brownies! Make sure you try a brownie!
