This is a true Mountain Oasis in the desert at the Joshua Tree National Park entrance:
One property, one bedroom house, extra sleeping in living room, and private-entrance guest quarters, plus a detached art studio for recreation and extra sleeping.
The house is a colorfully-painted ranch style, with mostly glass walls facing the mountain views in the back yard, with private entrance guest quarters and bath, plus a detached art studio for work, play, and/or extra sleeping.
Get away from the world, no phones, TV’s, or internet. All that is avail in town for emergencies, but this is a real desert-mountain retreat.
The house is one big room with living room, fire place, kitchen, and sunken area for enjoying the Mountain View with a separate and private master bedroom off the living room area.
And the other side of the open space holds the dining area with a hallway off to the bath. Through the colonnade and down the path are the guest quarters, a single large bedroom with Mountain View and bath.
There is an art studio next to it, with a convertible bed and day bed for extra sleeping.
Enjoy the orchard of 8 fruit trees, garden, large pine trees, and many other trees, cactus, and other desert plants.
There is lots of shade for lazy orchard naps in the hammock after lunch prepared in the outdoor kitchen.
You can spend early evenings in the hot tubs, among the rocks, after hiking, rock climbing, or just driving through the gorgeous Joshua Tree Park. Or after horse back riding available down the road.
There are restaurants, art galleries, live theatre, music festivals, and we are only 25 minutes from Desert Hot Springs and its famous hot tubs and pool where you can spend the day for one small price.
Further we are 35 minutes from Palm Springs its airport, spas, golf courses, arts and culture.
The Salton Sea is an 1 1/2 hrs away with fishing, swimming, and boating. LA and the Ocean communities are 2 1/2 hrs away for a great day trip.
The Wild Flower season is almost over, but everything is in bloom, and people come from all over the country to see it. So, spend a week or a weekend in this beautiful desert Oasis.
