Living room has sofa (with pull-out bed), recliners and television. Dining area accommodates 6. The master bedroom has king-size bed, TV and access to the bayside deck. Second bedroom has two twin beds. Swimming pool, washers/dryers (coin-op) in common area.
Beach is less than 5 minutes away at Padre Balli Park and Bob Hall Pier. Short drive to Mustang Island Beaches and the National Sea Shore. One of the best windsurfing areas in the nation! Located at Bird Island Basin, lessons available.
Do as much or as little as you like for your vacation here. Fishing and family activities abound! Bring your boat and dock it at the back door, fish from the jetties, wade or surf fish.
Clean your catch at the fish cleaning station, then grill it dock-side. Inter-coastal waterway connects to the Gulf of Mexico approximately 3 mi. from the dock. Premiere bird watching in the area!
Corpus Christi area attractions/activities include: Texas State Aquarium, the Lexington, botanical garden, art museum, shopping and restaurants.
Port Aransas area has very good restaurants and local artists' work displayed.

This was our second trip to Corpus Christi but our first time staying at this location. My husband commented he would stay here again. It was very clean and comfortable. My kids also loved staying at this condo.The beaches were very close as well as all the stores you may need. We had a great time and the owner is very nice to work with.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

We just returned after sharing this condo with my daughter's family for seven nights. My daughter and I agree that this condo represents very good value -- which is a biggie! The maintenance man says that these condos were built around 1975 but it seems to have been quite well maintained (except for the peeling paint in the bathroom -- which is probably related to the mediocre exhaust fan). With no dual pane thermal windowa or solar screens on the west wall (which is nearly all glass), the air conditioner labored in the late afternoons to cool the condo, but just managed to keep it cool. The kids loved fishing on the dock and watching 3/4ths of an inch jelly fishes from the dock. The extra gate on the patio added a level of safety for our toddlers. There is a great bay park area for walking three blocks away -- on the northside of Park Road 22; be sure to go there to watch the spoonbills, and watch the sunset. Being a few miles from the surf is a definite negative but is undoubtedly the reason the price is so reasonable. It took under 20 minutes to drive to the National Park to watch the 6:30 AM Kemp-Ridley turtle releases -- check the web site for which days. Don't miss it if possible. The sofa bed was more comfortable than most. The other beds were very good as well. Significantly, I was impressed that all the household supplies were current -- e.g., Casade to wash the dishes, a lot of extra toilet paper, glass cleaner for us to clean up after the toddlers' hand printys on the sliding doors, charcoal lighter fluid, etc. Be sure to go to "Docs" across the bay near the JFK bridge for lunch or evening live music. Finally, all the people were all very friendly.Owner response: Thanks for your nice review and staying at our condo Ed! Since you stayed we have done some work to the condo. We have installed new tile, replaced the AC unit and re-painted the bathroom. Hope you all will bring the family back again sometime!
