We truly enjoyed our stay at your unit and only the impending birth of our grand daughter kept us from requesting another week. You did a great job with the decorating and furnishing, exactly as advertised. We loved AMI and the Sarasota area and hope to return soon. I will definitely keep Gulf View in mind. J & J Boston, Ma

Gulf View is the perfect place to stay when you visit Anna Maria Island! Could not ask for a better location. Within walking distance of everything you might need. Bridge Street has neat little shops, the pier at its end, and Segs by the Sea! Do take a Segway tour with Jeff, it is so much fun and you get to go over the bridge to Longboat Key! I figured I would need either a doctor or a glass of wine by the time we got back...fortunately, the wine sufficed! Visit Duffy's on the North end for the best hamburger and cold beer! Go over the Cortez Bridge to 119th and eat at Cortez Kitchen for the freshest seafood around! We discovered it due to taking a water taxi tour with Capt. Mark...fun!! Rick & Nancy have a lovely, spacious condo! They have provided all the amenities of home in a warm, welcoming atmosphere! Can't wait to visit again! Thank you so much!!!!

I have stayed in this condo for the past 5 years - every August - and it is always clean and comfortable. I love waking up in the morning to the sound of the Gulf waves lapping the shore and the bird crys...I visit with my sister every year and we hate to leave and can't wait to get back! There is lots to do but nothing to do at the same time! I recommend this condo and Anna Maria Island to my friends and clients....Eat Here is a fabulous new restaurant to check out..owned by the Beach Bistro..the food is AMAZING!!! The condo is within walking distance to so much and the trolley stops right outside the building! Counting the days until I am back :) Enjoy!!

Thank you so much for the use of your beautiful condo. The location was perfect and it was everything we wanted in a vacation and more. You sure wouldn't need a car staying at this property. There are plenty of restaurants and things to do right around the condo. It was a great time and the condo was very clean and well kept. The area is bustling during the day but it was quiet during the night which was nice. The beds were extremely comfortable compared to other places where I have stayed. The view from the balcony is breathtaking and the sunsets were gorgeous. Thanks again and we plan on coming back next year.

We had a great time at this property. Property was clean and nicely decorated. It is in the heart of Bradenton beach, only a block from Bridge Street, and the beach is at the front door. Free trolley that covers entire Anna Maria island at the front door also.

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo the last week of October 2010. The weather was perfect and the water in the Gulf was still warm. We spent a lot of time on the private beach. It was very quiet and relaxing. There are a lot of nice restaurants within walking distance. The condo is really comfortable and the location is great – right on the beach with a waterfront view on the famous Anna Maria Island. This is our 4th stay on the Anna Maria Island and our 2nd stay in this wonderful condo. Thank you, Rick and Nancy!

We have just returned from our stay at this fantastic condo. This was our third visit to Anna Maria and this condo was by far the best we have stayed in. As soon as we walked through the door it felt like home and Rick and Nancy have done a fantastic job of making it absolutely perfect. It's in an ideal location, everything is within walking distance and the view from the balcony is awesome. We had breakfast on the balcony while watching the dolphins swimming by - what else could be more perfect. We can highly recommend it to everyone and hopefully we will be returning next year.

We have just completed our THIRD stay at Ocean View---we love the condo and always find it clean and well supplied--everything seems to work properly including the Wireless Internet-- The location is right on the Gulf with a beautiful view which is where I want to be when I come to the beach. I enjoy making pictures of the sunsets and the scenery ...got one of a double rainbow over the water this time! There are many restaurants within walking distance. One of our favorites is the Island Creperie, a small French place, located on Bridge Street right around the corner from the condo--we've enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner there. We also like City Pier Restaurant, Rod and Reel Restaurant, Skinny's Place and The Sign of the Mermaid..food was wonderful there! Rick C. has always been most helpful to me, answering my many questions, when making my reservations by email. Our Chihuahua is always welcome too! We hope to return in the Spring for our fourth visit if we can work it out---great place!

We had a wonderful time at the Gulf View condo. Everything was so convenient. We enjoyed walking to Rotten Ralph's Restaurant and walked on the dock each evening to watch the people fish. We ate at Olma's Pizza and the Sun Restaurant. The view from the condo was beautiful, watching the awesome sunsets. One evening there was a storm and lightning over the water and that was beautiful to watch. We saw dolphins and walked the beach in the early mornings and swam in the pool in the afternoon and walked to a restaurant in the evening and tried to be back in time to watch the sunset from the balcony at the condo. The condo is beautifully furnished and decorated and very comfortable. It was hard to leave. Time went too fast. We hope to go back again!

We absolutely loved everything about our stay at your wonderful beachfront condo. The sand and surf were incredible. We walked over to Bridge Street and went fishing on the Pier then ate lunch at Rotten Ralphs. On our way back to the condo we checked out all the interesting shops. Lots of good stuff to see and do for just about anyone is well within walking distance. We were able to watch the 4th of July parade just by walking out the front door. The fireworks display that night was viewable from the condos balcony and it was fantastic. The condo is well supplied so that cooking meals is no problem. All in all... We had a great time on our stay and will definitely be returning. Thanks for everything!

Rick & Nancy, We wanted to thank you for your rapid return of our security deposit, which is just one more "Wow-Factor" that we have experienced since our first contact with you. The list of "Wows" goes on and on, beginng with the ease of rental and check-in, check-out procedures, your condo management company was very helpful. To give you an example of above and beyond expectations, one evening we wanted to grill some steaks, I had found an old grill in the "Pool Locker" and before helping myself, I wanted to make sure it was public property. So I called Paradise Vacation ( the management co.) and the gentleman there told me I could use it, however knowing it was old he offered to buy a new one the next day if I wanted to wait. My wife and I were both very impressed with that sort of "Can Do" attitude. We were Wowed from the time we opened the front door, your decor was so beachy, we just felt like we could stay forever. As soon as you open the door you see out the sliding glass door, and you get that million dollar ocean view, Wow! It was great to have everything we needed, from the wide screen tv, to washer and dryer, there was just nothing other than our clothes that we needed. We will be reserving for next year soon. And once again Thank You! Sincerely, Chuck & Donna S. PS Your bed was just fine!

We had a fantastic time in this condo. As you walk into the apartment it is light, clean and very attractively decorated throughout and through the patio windows, you are met by a fantastic view of the beach and the ocean, which is literally a stones throw away. There is everything to cater for a family of four with every facility that is required to cook a meal, if required, with ample dishes, cutlery and a large fridge and freezer. From televisions, books, games, beach chairs to a cupboard full of towels, I don’t think there is anything that Rick and Nancy have not provided, as we felt it was like home from home. Access to the balcony can be gained from the main bedroom and the lounge and the balcony is covered with a mosquito screen so you don’t have to worry about being bitten at night. The condo is in a really good position with about six restaurants within easy walking distance and although a car is needed to reach the island which is approximately 2 hours from Orlando Airport, you can leave it in the parking bay and walk to one of the many restaurants and walk miles along the beach. One of the best restaurants and the most popular is the Beach House Restaurant, we ate there twice and had good service and meals. It is a great place to go and sit almost on the beach to watch the sunset, and what lovely sunsets we had. Just over the road is Oma Pizza and Banana Cabana the other direction is Bridge Street which has some nice shops and the Sun House Inn, a little further is Rotten Ralph’s on the pier which also does good food and is nice to sit outside and watch the pelicans and herons flying over. Opposite the pier is the Bridge Tender Inn. There are quite a few other restaurants around the island, but we ate at the sister restaurant to the Beach House Restaurant called the Sandbar. This was near to the top of the island with seating on the beach and on a boarded area, with a large indoor eating area, again a good place to eat. Just over the road from here is a bar called Feeling Swell and they have a happy hour from 2.00 - 6.00 p.m. with beer at $1 a pint. We caught the excellent free trolley bus which runs up and down the island until 10.00 p.m.. The beauty of this lovely island, which reminds me of some of the Caribbean islands with crystal clear blue water and powder white sands is that it is unspoilt by high rise buildings and retains a lot of its original charm. Lovely apartment, lovely island, lovely weather, lovely holiday. Thank
Owner response:Our thanks to Pat and Dave for thir review. Our goal is to have every guest feel as positive about our unit as they do. Bradenton Beach and Anna Maria Island are the main attraction--our job is to provide a comfortable, clean and up-to-date home away from home for our guests. Rick and Nancy
