My husband and I just spent a delightful three days at Holly and Dan's charming Millbrook cottage. It is both beautifully decorated and entirely comfortable at the same time. Everything you need is there and it is a most convenient location for exploring Millbrook and environs. We even were there for the wonderful Millbrook Christmas Parade which was such fun. We will definitely be returning.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

My wife and I stayed here over Labor Day weekend, and it was a perfect way to end the summer. Millbrook Village is very close, and the house was wonderful for the two of us. We were able to combine activities with downtime in and around the house, grilled some great meals out back, and truly enjoyed the weekend at Beyond Time. Holly and Dan's house is a great place to spend some time in Dutchess County - I'd recommend it to anyone, and we'll certainly look to head back sometime in 2013.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car, pet owners.

We just stayed at Holly and Dan's cottage, and it was beyond expectations. Beautifully appointed, comfortable and nicely located. We really enjoyed the artwork, decor, and flowers blooming abundantly on the property. Just loved it here, Holly and Dan have made "Beyond Time", a truly special place. We are looking forward to our return next year.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+.

My sisters and niece have been travelling to the Millbrook area for over 10 years for an annual visit to my see our Aunt who lives in Pleasant Valley, NY. The accomodations available in the area closest to her home have always been merely adequate. This year for our trip, I decided to see if we could do better. Beyond Time was "beyond" everything I had hoped to find. Dan and Holly definitely love this house in it shows in all that they have done to create such a peaceful, comfortable retreat. The artwork alone would make you want to come back for more! We celebrated my Aunt's 80th birthday on Saturday evening and had all the things we needed to make it a special evening. We will hopefully be back next year for another delightful weekend.Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

My husband and I had a wonderful weekend with our son in this impeccably designed house! It was so nice to stay in a rental property that wasn't run down and/or neglected, you can tell you are staying in a home that the owners love, it was like staying in a spread from a design magazine! The town of Millbrook as well as the surrounding areas provided endless things to do (biking on the rail trail, apple picking, horseback riding) and we had some wonderful meals out thanks to their recommendations. We hope to come again soon!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers.
Owner response: Thank you for such a nice review. Please come back and see us soon!

My husband, 9 month old daughter, and I had the pleasure of staying at this cottage in Millbrook for 4 nights. The cottage is warmly appointed, and the owners, Holly and Dan, definitely put a lot of thought into its design. We really loved staying here-- the cottage is right near the town (full of antique stores), as well as other area attractions (like the Trevor Zoo + Innisfree Gardens - perfect for our daughter!) While we definitely felt like we were in the country, the cottage is very easily accessible--i.e. not hidden/down a dirt road (which many of the houses in Millbrook are!) We loved hanging out in the large backyard, and my husband and I enjoyed having a glass of wine on the porch at the end of the day. Also, Holly and Dan were absolutely great about getting back to us quickly when we had any questions, and we really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get away for a few days (whether a family or a couple!)Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, age 55+.

We stayed here over the summer for a few days with two small children and had a fantastic time. The location is perfect, the house is decorated beautifully and the backyard provided hours of fun. The owners were very nice and helpful and overall the experience was great. The house had a good feeling to it, a really special place. Note: you definitely need a car, as you do pretty much everywhere in the area.Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, age 55+, adventure seekers.
Owner response: Thank you! Please come again.

We had the pleasure of staying at Holly & Don's wonderful cottage this past week. We enjoyed all the comforts of home in their beautifully decorated abode. The beds were so comfortable, as was all the furniture. The house was very clean and well appointed. An added bonus is the close proximity to the train to NYC, if you're so inclined. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone considering staying in the area.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We had such a wonderful time. Holly and Dan are wonderful hosts and their house is lovely. It is convenient to the main street of Millbrook and close to neighboring towns and villages. Their deck and backyard were great for bar-b-ques! We warmly recommend this house for both short and long stays.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0
