Why the Owner Chose Dollar Point
I didn't want to sell my wonderful home when I bought a new home in Truckee so I decided to turn it into a vacation rental in 2002. The location in Dollar Point is the best and I can still use all of the amenities.

This home in Dollar Point Subdivision of Tahoe City was my primary residence where my kids grew up and went to school. They walked to the pool by themselves and it is on a very quiet short street. Dollar Point is the nicest subdivision on the North Shore with the best and most amenities. I live in Truckee so I am close by to take care of the property. I know you will enjoy your stay at my home.

Our family very much enjoyed our stay at Gail Baker's home in Dollar Point. We found the home spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. It had a well equiped kitchen that made it easy to prepare meals. Tahoe City is just minutes away and has all the best shopping, eating, and recreation that Lake Tahoe has to offer. We definitely plan on coming back!
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

All went smoothly for our family long weekend including a 6 and 3 yr old. Home is clean and well equipped and a great location for most Tahoe activities. We enjoyed the beach and biking around Dollar Point. Would certainly do it again.

Enjoyed a beautiful white Christmas in Lake Tahoe. Great house - inviting, cozy,comfortable and well equipped. Ideal location - close to Tahoe City for shopping and dining.

My family and I had a wonderful time in Gail's beautiful home in Dollar Point. The weather was perfect for our days of horseback riding, jet skiing, sunbathing, hiking and shopping. The home was roomy, comfortable and had everything we needed. The private pool and beach were a hit with our teenage daughters! We hope to come back again soon!

WE HAD A WONDERFUL 10 DAY SUMMER VACATION AT GAIL'S HOME IN DOLLAR POINT. WE WERE HAPPY TO HAVE OUR DOG ZOE BE ABLE TO JOIN US AS WELL. THE HOUSE IS CLEAN, UPDATED AND HAS A GREAT FLOORPLAN. THE BACK DECK IS WONDERFUL TO HANG OUT ON WITH GREAT VIEWS OF THE LAKE AND A NICE GRASS AREA BELOW FOR OUR KIDS TO PLAY. DOLLAR POINT HAS A REALLY NICE POOL AND BEACH AS WELL. CAN'T WAIT UNTIL NEXT YEAR!

Great place to stay for a family vacation!! Great layout for summer or winter, is well equipped and appointed. Dog Friendly which our Golden enjoyed thoroughly. Gail always guarantees great snow during the Winter-and we had a ton this visit!!

Gail Baker has a very nice vacation home in Dollar Point. It is a neat, clean and well appointed place, perfect for a few couples or a large family. The best thing is that the house is in a great location. It has a view of the lake and it's easily accessible from the main road so it's only a short drive to Tahoe City and Squaw and Alpine as well as Northstar. The bottom line is we had a great time at her place.

We had a wonderful week at Gail Baker's beautiful home in Dollar Point, Tahoe City. Gail has thought of everything you need for a wonderful home-away- from-home, and more! The house is lovely & in a great area for walking. The living room and separate family room, plus the two separate decks provide lots of space. The back deck is so peaceful & relaxing, with lakeview & pine tree forest setting! Plus, you (and your dog) are entertained by watching the antics of the many friendly blue jays & grey squirrels. Can't wait to go back.

We had a wonderful stay. The house is nicely decorated and has all the necessary amenities. It was peaceful and quiet. You can take long walks down to the water or around the neighborhood. It was easy to drive into Tahoe City for groceries and also had a 7-11 in walking distance. We appreciated being somewhere where our dog was welcome. We would definitely return for aother visit.

What a pleasure to go on your vacation with your pet! Gail Baker's home is lovely with a view of the lake, access to the local swimming pool and beach, and trails within walking distance! We had a wonderful week at her home and our dog was elated to be able to join us on vacation!
