Beautiful Lakefront home in Emerald Valley sub-division (easy access from I-65, all paved roads) located on Lewis-Smith lake, property sits on an acre lot with 131 feet year around water. Spacious custom built home with 3200+ sq ft, 4 bedrooms and 2 ½ baths with hardwood flooring through out.
Living room has vaulted ceilings (25+ft), a floor to ceiling stone fireplace with gas logs, lots of windows that provide beautiful views of the lake, french doors open to a covered porch that continues onto a large deck overlooking the water. From the deck it is a short walk down to the pier & swim deck.
The kitchen has custom built cabinets, granite countertops, all stainless steel appliances, and a large pantry. Another set of french doors open to side patio with a gas grill. A sunroom connects the living room & kitchen and has a dining table that is surrounded by windows offering great views of the lake.
The master bedroom is spacious with vaulted ceilings and an additional sitting area with built in bookcases and a window seat overlooking the lake. Master bathroom is a great place to relax either in the custom built walk in shower (ceramic surround with marble floor & rain nozzle shower head) or in the built in garden tub. Planning to stay a few nights, the laundry room is equip with a washer & dryer which can come in handy.
A beautiful oak staircase with metal spindles leads upstairs. Atop the stairs is a loft that provides an area for reading or relaxing, including a desk and sofa bed surrounded by wonderful views of the lake. Upstairs there is 1 full bath and 2 regular bedrooms accompanied by a large bonus bedroom, great for use as grandparents quarters or for an additional family.
Wonderful place to relax & enjoy the lake. Swim, fish off the pier. Boat rentals available at local marina.

- Our lake house is surrounded by the small-town atmosphere of Houston, Arley, Double Springs, & Addison. Lots of local restaurants, all within 10 mins. The area also has several attractions like Houston Recreation Area, Bankhead National Forest, the Old Houston Jail, and other neat places to explore.
