The eight condos at Rocky Glen are integrated into the Baraboo Hills hillside.
Each has a view that makes you feel like you are in a treehouse. In the winter, when there are fewer leaves on the trees, you can see the Wisconsin River from the condo deck. This is a quiet, special and reverent place. It is serene.
Wildlife, particularly birds, abound in the area. There are deer, raccoons, owls, eagles, turkey and many more critters. The many prairies, particularly Roznos Meadow, are filled with wildflowers from spring through fall.
Fall is beautiful beyond description and spring, as always, increases our appreciation of the seasons and the importance of change.
Hiking trails are everywhere including the Ice Age Trail and the many trails through Devil's Lake State Park, one of Wisconsin's most popular attractions. At the park, you can swim, fish, boat or snorkel.
You'll see why it is so popular when you get here. Skiing is nearby (Devil's Head Resort, Cascade Mountain) and a trip to the International Crane Foundation, about 20 miles away, is a true treat. Wisconsin Dells, the nation's waterpark capital, is about 25 miles to the north.
There are friendly neighbors and an 11 PM restriction on noise. Bring a book or two or just sit outside and enjoy.

- Kid Friendly: The condo was not furnished for kids and there are few items specifically for their use (video games, etc.). Kids are, though, welcome and they will enjoy the outdoors.
- Minimum Age Limit for Renters: Adults (21 and over) as the principal guest. Rocky Glen is a community of full- and part-time residents and responsibility is expected of all.
