This Country Inn Style Home with lots of Southern Colonial charm, is the perfect setting to relax, host and accommodate You and some of your out of town families and friends on the days surrounding your wedding day. also perfect for, family Reunions, corporate retreats or any reason to gather everyone in one place. It is spacious and as lovely as the finest Country Inn. Each and every room is appointed and suited to make all of your guests feel as if they are at a spa retreat. The decks have lots of tables , chairs , rockers on the front porch ,to just " set a spell" or host an elegant dinner party on the back brick patio garden that is steps away from the very picturesque creek and bay.
It has 6 bedrooms 2 of which are complete apartments, and 4 and 1/2 baths. The Main house master bedroom has a beautiful king size bed and a double bed as well. A complete Suite with private luxury bath-large soaking tub and balcony overlooking the water and bay. Plenty of room for dressing and relaxing- small fridge and microwave in room. Total sleeping accommodations are available for up to 16 people( included in the count of 16 is a queen sleeper sofa)and the assumption of 2 people in Double Beds( 2 )
This home sits directly on Black Walnut Creek, and looks out to the Bay. A large deck off the main kitchen and living room, perfect for grilling out, Hosting a casual or elegant Dinner Party /Rehearsal Dinner, or Sunday Brunch. Happy to coordinate and assist with wonderful local caterer. Everything looks out onto lovely gardens ,very suitable for wedding day photography.
Kitchen has 4 x 8 island for informal gatherings. 6 burner gas/grill stove and 2 ovens-one with convection. pantry off kitchen. Lots (4) of fridges, freezers, linens, all the comforts of home everything is provided for you. Fine linens, towels, Washer and dryer on main and and lower level.

Why the Owner Chose Annapolis
There are a thousand tributaries to the Cheasapeake Bay, this one little slice of heaven was little known, but has gained some notarity several years back, when LL Bean chose it as one of its only 2 spots for their popular Discovery kayak learning trips. Local Annapolis Author Tom Stoner's new book " Open Spaces, Sacred Places" features our exact location on page 23 of his book. Across the creek is the home of The Chesapeake Bay Foundation, who purchased the acreage directly across the creek, expressly to leave as a nature preserve. The only thing you will see , as you wiling away the hours , are very grateful critters, and some boaters.

The home has been built and decorated with the idea of entertaining and hosting out of town guests. The garden by the water, is painstakingly attended to with perenials and annuals abundant. Every detail has been chosen to make you feel like you are at a spa retreat. The colors, are peaceful and coastal. The amenities are right at your finger tips and if by chance you have need for a little assistance , I am a phone call away and minutes from the house. Outside of that you will have totally privacy. Cady and I love our adventures away, when we have guests.

I have lived on this property for almost 20 years and always knew that one day I would create a home where I could have out of town guests, this property is too magical, to not be shared with others. The old cottage was lovely and I think of it now as having just grown up a bit. Its like a new old house. I have a day job, at a local non- profit, but my passion is as a pastry chef, no longer full time, but still bake part time,when not preparing for house guests, I think this is my second passion, as I thoroughly enjoy the whole process of preparing the home for the arrival of a new family, making sure that every detail ensures that they will be comfortable. Along with my trusty , always by my side companion "Cady" the 9-10 year old golden retriever-
