Location was our primary deciding factor, and it was great. The beach truly is right across a street, and the street had crosswalks and was easy to cross. It was a very brief walk from front door to beach chair, even shorter than some resorts that are “on the beach”. The space was plenty large and the two separate bathrooms worked really well for us. The decor is newer, although there were some fit and finish quirks if that kind of stuff bothers you. There weren’t any spices or oils stocked so plan on bringing those if you’re planning on cooking a bunch. You can see the ocean from the balcony even though it’s a partial view. The complex was basic but tidy and well-maintained. Several local restaurants were nearby and directly on the beach which was nice. Overall we had a very good stay. The bad marks we left on communication and check-in may have been an anomaly because we later learned the host was in the hospital and nobody else had accurate information. We were stranded for a day and a half but our frustration is just as great with VRBO as it was with the host. VRBO promised us alternate accommodations then literally ghosted us and abandoned us to fend for ourselves to try to find another property. Finally we found another place but before we checked in the host was able to reach us and get us in to our original place. We would stay here again.
